What to put in place of old dumbo?

I'm curious when construction will start on the other castle wall. I would think they would need to finish smoothing over the old Dumbo site first so they can open that up for traffic to flow around the new wall construction. I'm gonna be down there the first week of June and I'm hoping that wall is pushed back and the old Dumbo area is fresh and new.

It has already started. You can see in the latest aerial photos some wooden forms in the share of the new wall. Probably going to be used to pour the foundation for the wall.

I never noticed it until now...but if you look at the concrete in the walkway just beyond the castle walls...there is some "swirls" in it. I'm wondering if this was just for the painting or if that will actually part of the concrete. Nice touch.

Also...it's amazing how much foliage is being added to the once "concrete-land" that it use to be.

Ahhh! How right you are. I completely overlooked that and was looking more south. I know they need both entry ways into the courtyard for better traffic flow, but it seems odd that the east wall will just kinda be floating out there. I think if it were me, I would have ran the wall right between The Friar's Nook & Mrs. Potts' Cupboard (or Hundred Acre Goods? Didn't the name change?) and left the entry way pretty wide. I'm not a fan of the "floating wall". Oh well.

Comparing the painting and the forms, it looks like you will be walking right through the middle of the old Dumbo as you exit through the castle wall.
