New poster here. My wife and I will be arriving late on a Sunday, 10pm or so.
We are staying at ASMovie. What or where should we eat?

We are flying into Sanford and will have a car. I believe we will get to ASM by 10pm. We should arrive at SAN by 9pm, get our bags, stop by Walmart for cokes and snacks for our room and then to ASM I hope by 10pm. Might be sooner as it will be Sunday night and lite traffic.

Thing is, if you go directly to the ASM from the airport, you guys don't have to mess with any other stops, can all eat at the food court and then crash in your room upstairs.

Since you're gonna go to Walmart at some point, you can get apple slices in the bag if you don't want to mess with washing and cutting a bunch of apples and you can get some sandwich supplies to carry with you in the parks... Although now that I think about it, meat sandwiches might not be the best idea if you're not lugging around a cooler :/. Maybe keep cool packs in your backpack?

Stop at Disney Springs on the way to ASM and try and grab a table on the Raglan Patio or over at the Splitsville Patio. People watch, take it all in and check in at ASM after.

Is the parking situation fixed at disney springs? Haven't driven their since April 2014 and I remember it being an absolute NIGHTMARE due to all the construction going on.

You can exit off of I-4 straight into the parking garage. Exit 67 I believe. Just keep right on the exit ramp and you'll run right into the Orange Garage. That will take you in by AMC and Splitsville.

Edited: Sorry. I mistakenly assume (you what they say when you assume) people know the roads in Orlando...my bad - If you are coming from MCO take 528 West and then I-4 West towards Tampa which will put you at exit 72 on I-4. Continue for 5 miles then take exit 67 and veer right towards DS.

If your Walmart stop runs the danger of getting you to ASM too late to visit the food court, then while you're there, pick up something to eat for your late dinner. I can't testify to the Florida Walmart hours and offerings, but our local Walmart supercenters here in NY are open 24 hours and even though the deli and bakery aren't staffed late at night, they still offer pre-made deli sandwiches and salads, cheese and charcuterie platters, veggie trays, fruit bowls, etc.

Since you're driving, I just noticed that you can get ADRs at almost every restaurant in DS after 10pm.

Take Epcot Center Drive exit off I-4. Follow the signs to the DS parking garage. Afterward, exit the parking garage onto Buena Vista Blvd. toward World Drive. Stay all the way on BVB directly to ASM.

I would probably play it as it goes. The airport has tons of decent options if you have any unexpected delays. There is a good chance a walmart has a Subway, or could just eat at the resort. I would likely choose the resort.

Sanford, not OIA. Nothing around there I recommend stopping for.

Some late-night places open on 192 as you come down the 417. IHOP, Waffle House, Dennys. Easiest place to stop on way.

Oh, I googled sanford airport and it gave me the official name "Orlando Sanford Internatinal Airport". I thought it was the same.
