What to do???

Nursing is a necessary and important part of a child's developement. It is neither against the law or against park rules to nurse in public or during a show. Should you have done more? No. As it is, I think what you did was a little bit much, dramatically grabbing your children away from the evil nursing mother. When a baby has to eat, a baby has to eat. And from what I've heard, when that baby has to eat, a nursing mother actually can start leaking milk (it's some kind of hormonal reaction to hearing the baby's cries). Would you shield your children from watching a dog nurse it's puppies? Or a cow nursing it's calf? It is a natural part of life. If your kids didn't make a deal out of it (and it sounds like they didn't), then you shouldn't have.

As parents (both you and me) I think your actions were completely over the top - did the nursing mother commit a sin or do something obscene ?? were put on a women for that purpose and if your kids had asked questions afterwards then so be it.
I get the feeling that you and your wife were more embarrassed than your kids

I'll admit to being a little uncomfortable when this is done in public - some people are less discreet than others - but I think if you just ignored it, your kids probably wouldn't have had a problem either. They'd be paying more attention to the Mermaid show. JMO

Looks like the original topic has changed just a bit...:lookaroun

I think the OP got an earfull and went back to remove what may have been a less than perfect post...

" Last edited by JimboJones123 : Today at 11:41."

Then OP returned with innocuous stuff about where to eat

It's not a big deal, but all of your previous posts were edited to remove what clearly got some negative reactions from others. As a result, people coming in since are beiing treated to a rather confusing series of posts.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out, unless you can convince those who reacted to edit their posts to remove their reactions as well. The web makes it difficult to hide your tracks.

The Dinner and show package is a nice thing to do because you dont have to wait in line. You're going to eat dinner at some point anyway, so why not have a reserved seat for the show along with it. You can knock off some rides while other people are waiting in line for Fantasmic. Last time I was there, my girlfriend and I didnt even sit in the section that was reserved because there were better seats open, but it was nice to know going in that we would have good seats no matter how crowded it was.

For those that are confused, the OP originally posted a message about someone beside their kids that was brestfeeding. Then 2 people replied, and then the OP deleted everything he wrote, and completly changed the subject as if it never happened.

OK, glad that got cleared up. Thought I was in the Twilight Zone (not ToT) there for a second.

Anyway,

We have done the Brown Derby/Fantasmic package and enjoyed it. I don't think the Brown Derby was as much fun as I had anticipated it to be, but it certainly was nice having the extra time to do other things rather than wait so long for Fantasmic. Don't know if we will do it this year or not, but probably will do the package again.
