If there is CM's blocking the Bridges they will tell you that the section of the park is closed..Usually when the GNK happens the park is officially closed past Main Street which is open for the additional time to do last minute shopping..

We have seen this several times, but never knew it actually had a name. The MK at closing is so magical! We make sure to close the place down at least twice every trip. There is no one there and you can get some great pictures.

Do CM's stop you from trying to go on rides?

They won't let you on rides, but normally I just walk around try to get as far back before im turned around.
