What time do Disney buses start running?

I posted this in another forum, but was recommended to try this one out.

I have reservations for certain character breakfasts at 8:00AM, when the parks open at 9:00AM.

Since I'm staying on property, I didn't rent a car.

My question is, what times do the Disney Transport buses start doing pickups at the resorts for service to the theme parks at?

Is it safe to assume your character breakfasts are in one of the parks?

I only ask because, if any of them are in a hotel, you'll need the extra time to go from your hotel to a park or the TTC (Transportation & Ticket Center), THEN get from there to the hotel that's having the breakfast.

I believe I read in one of the unofficial guides that transportation begins running 60-90 minutes before official park opening.

You might want to consider renting a car for a few days, to cover those brekfasts. Not ABSOLUTELY necessary, but it may come in handy. There's an Alamo/National car rental agency next to the Magic Kingdom.

Actually, I just read that there are seperate buses that run from the Disney Resorts about an hour befoire the first seating time that say "Character Breakfast".

I should be good.

We had this same concern in June. But rest assured that you will be fine. We were at Pop and had an early breakfast reservation for 12 people at Cinderellas...I was worried for no reason at all. Just hop on that bus marked "Character Breakfast".
