What the heck is Dinoland U.S.A?

I like DinoLand because it provides a break from the otherwise serious, ecology & conservation message of the rest of Animal Kingdom Park. And for all the complaining, DinoLand always seems to be packed to the gills with kids & families who want to play the carnival games & ride the two rides.

Wasn't Dino-Rama intended to be a temporary placeholder land, to only stick around for a year or 2?

I think easily and quickly replaceable might be a better phrase.

But even in the world of Disney theme parks 'temporary' typically means 10 years plus.
