Unfortunately, that ship has sailed.I would prefer DHS to stick to the movie studio theme more. Where we are on the 4th wall looking in, or part of the production. Not transported to a real world.

Most of the supplemental features on the old DVD's have migrated to youtube. If they had just finished where they started with the Pixar Studios area they designed when Midway Mania! opened they could have expanded that with the door coaster and a Cars attraction. Then we would get to keep both Muppet Vision and the Rivers of America/TSI and built Runaway Railway where the Launchbay is and keep the Great Movie Ride and of course the eyesore that is TSL would not be built. I really hate the fact that I am better at Master Planning than the actual Imagineers are but there you go.A thought occurs. Wasn't the justification for moving away from the "behind the scenes" aspect of the park that DVD bonus features already do the same "behind the scenes" thing?
Now DVDs are being replaced by streaming, so...
This is of course assuming that Muppets, Movie Ride, and ROA wouldn’t be on the chopping block anyway for other things. Most of the supplemental features on the old DVD's have migrated to youtube. It really, really hasn't.Most of the supplemental features on the old DVD's have migrated to youtube.
The door coaster was originally planned to go where the TSM 3rd track was built, because the HS President at the time said HS didn't need another height restriction attractionMost of the supplemental features on the old DVD's have migrated to youtube. He was right. It also didn’t need another track of Disney’s awful Wii game. The door coaster was originally planned to go where the TSM 3rd track was built, because the HS President at the time said HS didn't need another height restriction attraction
Take it back. TSMM is some of the most fun that can be had at WDW. I have never ended the ride without a massive smile, and laughing. Now, could it use new games? Sure, but the current version is still great. He was right. It also didn’t need another track of Disney’s awful Wii game.
That and a strong urge to wash my hands...I have never ended the ride without a massive smile
TSMM still gets longer waits, so IMO the 3rd track was a good call. The door coaster was originally planned to go where the TSM 3rd track was built, because the HS President at the time said HS didn't need another height restriction attraction
I would actually cry. No would I die from laughter? That wouldn't then involve a walkway connection to the RnR area either, does it? WHY WAS I EXPECTING A RIDE?!I’ve heard that one short-term concept here is to replace Launch Bay with …
Stop me if you’ve heard this before
… a series of walk-thru exhibits about Disney animation.
"short-term" is always a scary thing when describing Disney attractions.I’ve heard that one short-term concept here is to replace Launch Bay with …

Which, okay, is relatively straightforward and inexpensive. They could use it to promote tons of upcoming projects. Meets the synergy goal.
If that’s the case, I think they should play it like a “buddy movie”. Cast a comedian who doesn’t understand animation and someone really strait-laced to explain it. I’m pretty sure I could have a script ready in a couple hours.
Because it's easier than walking?I would actually cry. No would I die from laughter? That wouldn't then involve a walkway connection to the RnR area either, does it? WHY WAS I EXPECTING A RIDE?!
Thanks I hate itI assume it'd be short term because the IP they want for the space is currently holed up with another park til its contract expires...
