What Should Have Been Built??

What attractions do you think should have been built? OR What attractions were built, but taken down that you think should come back? Just thought it would be interesting to see what people think.

I think the Swan Boats should come back, theres no point in having the water without the Swan Boats in my opinion.

I still think Pooh needs to go and Mr. Toad needs to come back. I think they could re-release the movie on dvd special edition or whatever and bring back the ride. But I don't think that will happen any time soon.

Never saw the Mickey Mouse Revue, but it looks like a good show. I don't know where they could put it now though because I wouldn't want them to get ride of Mickeys Phillar Magic.

I dont think I was ever around for these buses but they look like a neat way to get around World Showcase, unless it was too crowded.

I dont know exactly what, but I think they should do something with Discovery Island.

I dont think people would want a clone of Animators Palate in the parks but maybe something with that concept? I loved it on the cruise but I visit wdw more than I go on the cruise lol =] .

The Germany River Ride I think would be a nice edition to World Showcase which really needs more rides. Again, I have no idea where they would put it though.

The Persian Hotel seems like it would have been a nice place to stay, and I would have looked into staying there if it was ever built.

The subs, Mr Toad, and Horizons are all attractions that I miss sorely. Also the original backlot tour at MGM is a shell of its former self now.

Funnily, I`m glad the Swan Boats went. I`m not saying a castle on Main St looks authentic, but seeing these travelling around the hub spoilt what confused themeing was there in the first place. Plus now It`d need some serious work around Swiss Family Treehouse (even if they didn`t follow the original route) to get to the drydock.

MMR - as it was, today it would be way too dated. Philharmagic does a good job of representing what the show used to, and is more up to date tech wise (though some good A-100s wouldn`t go amiss!)

The busses were a good idea on WS- though in July I doubt they`d work as well as March. With 1.4 miles to walk, the water taxis can`t cover all the bases.

The Persian - perhaps the most underated resort never built. Bay Lake would be a fantastic place for another resort, the land is available (c-ya, boneyard) - I`d imagine access would be an issue on the north shore. I`d be happy to see it - in any of it`s guises. Say goodbye to the monorail link though.... perhaps a WEDway to the MK entrace perhaps... :D

Kind of a nice sentiment, however the logic doesn't hold true.

How many fictitious castles, fortified by a moat that doesn't completely surround it (merely meandering around the suurounding acres) but has a drawbridge that is non operational, and serving thousands lunch daily and only sleeping one family per night (temporarily), has a tour boat service operating for the pleasure of the not so pleasant peasants.

Uh shouldn't this be called what do you want reopened/brought back. Not what should've been built. Because these were built and were opperational at one time and The Mickey Mouse Revue is currently at Tokyo Disneyland.

I loved the Mickey Mouse Review when I was little!!!! There is no reason that it couldn't be updated and brought back in some or another...especially with what they can do AAs these days. I love Philharmagic as well so I would to see that messed with or even closed.

You beat me to it. That would have been a great Marc Davis boat ride

I would actually love to see something like that as an anchor for a North American area of DAK. Retool the tall tales to animal-oriented tales, and it could be a really fun thing. Plus, it would give that Disney park its own Disney-style dark ride.

I totally agree with kcnole - I would love to see Mr. Toad & Horizons again but, especially, MGM's Backlot Tour. That was one of my favorites & now it's been totally ravaged. Not only has the tour been destroyed but by tearing down the "houses", the Osborne Family Christmas has also lost its "magic"! It's such a disappointment now!
