I was searching through my old Walt Disney World Pictoral Souvenir Book from 1993 and I noticed a whole bunch of rides that have been replaced by new ones, bu couldnt tell what the ride was of yesterday?

To help me I was wondering if anyone could name a ride that has been replaced by somthing there today.......example:

Mr. Toad.......Many Adventures Of Winnie The Pooh

Rides from MGM, Epcot and other places would be nice...

Now if more can be named I would appreciate it. Merry Christmas:cool:

The Lion King movie in Living with the Land replaced another similar movie regarding the land. (I can't remember either of their names).

I can't remember the major changes at Disney Studios although I know that Lights Motor Actions took over a good portion of the old backlot tour.

After Magic Journeys closed at Epcot, it opened in Fantasyland. So yes, EO did replace it.

Wasn't one of these versions of the ride sponsored by Eastern Airlines. Also, thanks to this thread I have "Up, Up, and Away, In My Beautiful, My Beautiful Baloon" stuck in my head.

Also, I remeber staying at two different resorts that are no longer there. One was the "Golf Resort" or something like that. I assume it is now Shades of Green. Is that right?

The other place we stayed was in a treehouse...does anyone know the name of this.

What replaced both of these resorts? Anyone know?

If You had Wings was sponsored by Eastern which then changed it's name to If You Could Fly and this then changed to Dreamflight then it was sponsored by Delta. Then when Delta stopped their sponsorship it was changed to Take Flight and THEN Buzz took over (sposored by Pixar [hee hee])

The Golf Resort became the Disney Inn which became Shades of Green in 1996. It's owned by the Department of Defense.

And before The Bear in the Big Blue House show, it used to be a restaurant with a Aladdin theme.

Before the Aladdin theme, it had a Beauty and the Beast theme. And before that, it had a more general backstage theme as the Soundstage Restaurant. Mmmm...peanut butter and jelly and marshmallow fluff sandwiches.
