What ride are you to scared to ride?

I went on the Star Wars ride and barely made it off. I knew that if it went another 30 seconds I was going to lose it. It stopped just then. So, I avoided Mission Space - someone told me if you can't do Star Wars, don't do MS. Then, they downgraded MS for us wimps. I thought I would try it and it was great! I loved it! No sickness involved. Anything else is a breeze.

Sixteen days and counting!

Mission: Space I've never been on and probably won't go on due to motion sickness & disliking small spaces.

I've been on Tower of Terror & Space Mountain but fear them both. I hate being dropped, and I fear I will be decapitated on Space Mountain. I know, it's impossible - but I can't help it.

I don't ride Splash either - fear of being dropped again!

As for me, there is nothing I am scared to ride at WDW. I love roller coasters and heights. I will probably never go on Kali River Rapids again, but that's just because it was the most disappointing ride of that type I've ever been on. I'd rather ride the one at Dollywood.

In March my friend who is scared of heights and loops, gets motion sickness and has Epilepsy went with me to the World. He rode ALL the thrill rides. He said the closest he came to being sick was on Star Tours. The scariness of M:S is more the build up than the actual ride. They must warn you 100 times "if you've ever had a headache or a sniffle, or if your great grandma had varicose veins, please don't ride M:S". He loved the ride (orange team) but expected it to be more intense after the endless warnings.
His fear of heights had him scared at the beginning of Soarin, but he loved it by the end. I think he enjoyed waiting in the line and playing the games as much as the ride though...
Obviously, ToT was a big concern because of the height, but in the end it was his favorite ride. He wont stop talking about it (and I'm glad to have someone to talk about WDW with).

We had such a great time that he talked his girlfriend into going for her birthday in early May. Back to WDW we go!:sohappy:

Oh, and to those here who are afraid to go on M:S - My dad is 79 and he rode is last year. The CM almost refused him an orange pass! It's his new favorite ride...he had an absolute blast.

Heading for the great escape.
Its a small world, its a combination of the song and knowing that if the rides breaks down, the dolls will come to life and the souls of the lost children within will try to cut me up with their sharp animatronic workings.

Technically this isn't a "ride" but I'm pretty nervous about Stitch's great escape. Didn't want to go when it was Alien Encounter, don't want to go when it's Stitch.
That and maybe Mission: Space. I know there's a "tamer" version of it and that I know I won't DIE on it 'cause I don't have any heart conditions, but just the same it makes me nervous. That and the small spaces. I'm not really claustrophobic but I have my moments.

I'm a wimp so Mission Space will never see me nor will RnR. I've been on Tower of Terror but chickened out the last time I tried and really don't plan on going on it again. Sadly HM somewhat scares me too but in a different way however I'd still go on it.

I would have to agree. We did get stuck on that once, for at least 15 minutes. You know you're about to lose your mind when you begin anticipating the song loops. We were in the last room too, so close to the exit but yet so far. Needless to say on our next visit it took some convincing to get everyone to ride again.

Got into M:S, the CM started to close the lid to the ride, my claustrophobia kicked in and I freaked.:lol: Promptly hopped out. Not one of my more fonder EPCOT Explorations.:lookaroun

I got stuck on it for 20 or 25 minutes at disney land and we were 10 feet from the exit.I just manted to jump out the boat and walk to what I came there to ride...space mountain.I was trying to get to the re opening ceremony ASAP but we came too late.I ended up being the 187th person to ride that day.The CM's were counting the people in line.At least we got to ride on the first day.

I have been scared to ride Mission Space because I don't want to get sick. I think I may try the mild version this time though, and I am still nervous about that.

I also have a fear of Tower or Terror, but I do it anyway. :ROFLOL:Everything else I have no problems with. :D

I take less drowsy dramamine before I ride MS and also Primeval Whirl. I used to hate coasters but since riding EE, I realized it's the ones that are mostly out in the open. Probably would not have ridded RnRC if I had seen it with the lights on before having ridden it the first time but was already hooked before it broke down and we had to walk out through the coaster area. To me, it goes so fast it's over before you realize how high you were. :D

That is the saddest story I've heard. I hate IASM, and I'd hate to be stuck on it. And to miss the opening of SM? Ouch

Oh yeah! RnR! I forgot about that. That's one I'll probably never ride either. Heck, I'm such a wimp that sometimes Space Mountain seems too much for me. :lookaroun Which is why hope it NEVER gets the Paris make over

I have quite a few rides Im afraid to go on. I'll break it down by park:

The Magic Kingdom
Big Thunder Mountain- Every trip I say that I'm gonna go on this, but I always chicken out. I have to ride it next trip. (Next week)

Space Mountain- I was afraid to ride it, but I went on it once and had fun. I havent been on it since, but I wouldn't mind.

EPCOT
There's no ride at Epcot that Im afraid to go on. However I have never done Mission: SPACE Orange. I never thought I would go on M:S but when they added the green version I tried it and now go on it once every trip.

DHS
Tower of Terror- I don't think that I will ever go on this.

Rockin' Roller Coaster- Like Tot I doubt that I would go on this either.

Animal Kingdom
Expedition Everest- Like BTM, I would like to try this, but I never do.

I rode pretty much everything during our first WDW vacation in 2005, but chickened out at the last minute on our 2nd vacation in 2007 when it came time to ride ToT and RnRC. I regretted half of that decision because I remember loving RnRC our first trip.

So when we went back for a third time last month, I was glad that I got up the nerve to ride RnRC again. Don't let me fool you though; like alot of you on here, I was extremely nervous waiting in the queue and EXTRA nervous after I saw the cars tearing off the closer we got to the front of the line. My wife and kids don't know, but I came pretty darn close to bailing out at the last second. I am SOOOO glad I didn't! After the initial blast off, the rest of the ride is simply awesome. The launch didn't even get to me as much this time as that first year for some reason. Noticed this on EE over at AK though too. Had wicked headaches and dizziness after riding those two the first time last 2 trips. More experienced now I guess!:ROFLOL:

For me, it's Tower of Terror (don't like free fall type rides) and Rock N Roller Coaster (not sure if I could take the acceleration)

I do ride Mission Space (Green), Expedition Everest (my newest favorite) Splash Mountain and I would ride Space Mountain if I didn't have knee problems and getting out of those rockets is a nightmare for me. Wish they would get rocketships like the ones in Disneyland.

nothing

I am not scared to go on anything at disney. Once you have been on a coaster like kingda ka everything at disney is tame lol (no six flags nocking kk is pretty safe).
