I love the theme of some of the restaurants in Disney WOrld.. places like Germany and Mexico (how they make u feel like ur outside), Liberty Tree Tavern (how it looks like an old wooden cabin), etc.

What other restaurants in Disney World have that kind of great looks?

I'm going to disney again in december for 5 nights have have the following planned for my dinners :

1. Fultons Crab House
2. Libery Tree Inn
3. Beirgarten
4. I was going to try Whispering Canyon Cafe in Wilderness Lodge
5. Looking for ideas for this dinner slot

I personally love the look of Restaurant Marrakesh in Morocco in EPCOT.
Though we usually eat lunch there dinner is a good choice too.

I love the Whispering Canyon Cafe in the WL, the food is yummy (esp the breakfast skillet) and its all you care to eat.

Le Cellier in Canada. You feel like you are eating in a wine cellar!!! And then of course Cinderella's Royal Table, what could possibly beat eating in a Castle???? Belle

If I am eating at WL, I am eating at Artist Point over Whispering Canyon. Sci-Fi Drive-in at MGM is a good atmosphere for lunch. The best theming and atmosphere has to be in France at Epcot. It does not matter if you want to sit down or just have a pastry on the sidewalk.

I think the Kona Cafe at the Poly has a nice modern artistic but stylized enough to be Polynesian look. A good mix from an artistic standpoint. Tonga Toast is very popular (I usually go for dinner though).

For counter-service, I think the Fountainview Cafe at Epcot has a fun interior and great view. A great place to grab breakfast at Epcot.

I seem to be a breakfast kick :) Anyways - to avoid monotony in your meals, consider Whispering Canyon and others for breakfast sit down meals, if you're only planning 1 sit-down a day. This way you'll have time at night for shows and special parades.

Lunch is another viable way to try new things without "blowing the night" - France's Chefs des France restaurant has a great lunchtime quiche and vegetarian soup/salad combination.

I have several (no comments on the quality of the food - just the theming/atmosphere):

1. Ohana - Grill pit in center of room, Poly theme; it's like you're on Survivor without the voting
2. Artist's Point - Northwestern paintings and windows that look out over grounds and pool
3. 50's Prime Time Cafe - Chrome and formica
4. Concourse Steakhouse - Contemporary lobby and the monorail passing through
5. Sci-Fi dinner theater - You're at a drive-in and the car is your table
6. Any World Showcase restaurant has great theming IMO

There are others, but these came to mind first. They are in no particular order.

Sci-Fi Dine In has real fun theming, and good food too.
Ditto on 50's Prime Time Cafe.
For atmosphere and food, my favorites are Jiko and Artist Point (especially Jiko)

Coral Reef(just looking at the aquarium is awesome), Sci-Fi(the drive in feel is really cool), Ohana, Boma, Le Cellier, Biergarten, Yachtsman Steakhouse(these last ones just have a great atmosphere to them). There are a few others I think look awesome on the inside, but I'm drawing a blank right now.

- The newest version of the Pecos Bill Cafe has some pretty spectacular theming on the inside
- Colonel's Cotton Mill at PO Riverside is a fun place to eat too
- ESPN Cafe at Boardwalk is always fun. It's not every day you get to watch TV in the bathroom

Yeah, I was about to say the counter service places are being neglected here. Pecos bill is really nice depending on where you sit, and I also enjoyed the scenary of village fest haus as well. I'm sure there are more but I'm not that familliar. The land was aways a nice place too, but looks a little too loud after the refurb.

Nobody mentioned Cinderella's Royal Table. We love dining in the Castle. Sitting by the windows looking down at Fantasyland or up at the banners (I know that's not the right word but my son the medieval trivia geek isn't home) make you feel so regal. And who can beat being called Lord or Lady while dining! We took my niece there when she was 10 and later that night she called her dad and said "daddy we got to eat in a castle and they called me Princess just like you do".
