I love the theme of some of the restaurants in Disney WOrld.. places like Germany and Mexico (how they make u feel like ur outside), Liberty Tree Tavern (how it looks like an old wooden cabin), etc.

What other restaurants in Disney World have that kind of great looks?

I'm going to disney again in december for 5 nights have have the following planned for my dinners :

1. Fultons Crab House
2. Libery Tree Inn
3. Beirgarten
4. I was going to try Whispering Canyon Cafe in Wilderness Lodge
5. Looking for ideas for this dinner slot

Ditto on the whole outside inside theming at Biergarten, Mexico and Sci-Fi.

I'm a huge fan of the restaurant at the deluxe resorts. I esp. enjoy the atmosphere at Artist Point (esp if you get a window table overlooking the stream above the pool) and Jiko. Nobody has mentioned Narcoossee's at Grand Floridian. Nice waterfront dining on Seven Seas Lagoon.

By the way, I thought the atmosphere at Victoria and Albert's was pompous and boring.

I like Mexico too and Le Cellier, its nice to have some sensory deprivation from the hussle and bussle of the parks for a while. I personally like the atmosphere at Planet Hollywood, I know its noisy and OTT but I like it.

Hey Tigsmom...at Marrakesh, are you sitting at tables or the floor?

I'm not Tigsmom.. but I can tell you that you are seated at tables. I just ate there this week. Great food, great service. There is also a belly dancer and sitar player. The best part was all the kids in the restaurant getting up to dance! I never would have thought of this being a great place for kids.. but they looked like they were having a ball. This is one of my new faves!!

We ate dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table and it happened to be during the Surprise Celebration and we got to see Peter Pan and Captain Hook run past our window. Just dinning inside the castle was a great experience. We also enjoyed the atmosphere of 'Ohana and the 50's Prime Time Diner.

Thank you...

I ate at a Moroccan restaurant last weekend, where you sat on couches that hugged the corners of the room. All the food was set out on this round table (that was actually a large gold plate). It was 7 courses and you ate with your hands. They washed your hands first and you placed towels on your lap.

The men were served first as is the custom.

I agree with Disgolfer - for atmosphere, we like Artist's Point at the Wilderness Lodge. We ate there on a rainy night, and it absolutely felt like we were in the Pacific Northwest. Food is outstanding there too (unlike, IMHO, Mexico). Whispering Canyon is a lot of fun, but I wouldn't say it has atmosphere.

The Sci-Fi restaurant, both Rainforest Cafe's, the Coral Reef restaurant, and almost all the World Showcase restaurants look really nice inside!

You should go to Le Cellier. The food is great and you get three types of breadsticks(representing 3 parts of Canada). You also get seated in one of the four Provinces(your wait-er/ress should explain that better than I can.:) )

King Stephen's Banquet Hall(err, I mean Cinderella's Royal Table) is also a good bet. So is The Corral Reef, as well.

Good choices

My wife's favorite is the Rainforest Cafe!
It's the first restaurant we go to...

OOOhhh no, this was very "American-Disneyized". Sit at a table- eat with your fork- tables set up like any other place- order off the menu (no more than three courses).

I don't know if I would go somehere that somebody else washed my hands.. :lookaroun

What they do is bring out a pitcher with bowl...you place your hands over the bowl and they pour warm water over your hands. Menu below. It's only 7 courses now because they ommitted the soup.

Someone said don't forget the counterservice restaurants

and my vote for the best theming on that one is the Flame Tree at AK. I loved the outdoor seating and the view. Plus it had really good pork sandwiches and key lime pie!
