What resorts have you been to?

I liked POFQ when it was just DW and I; a quiet, smallish resort with an idealized spin on the French Quarter. Maybe give that a try.

Crescent Lake is perhaps the most adult area of WDW; several restaurants and bars at the area's 5 hotels plus within walking distance of the World Showcase of Epcot. Consider the Boardwalk Inn, Beach Club, Yacht Club, Swan, or Dolphin for just the 2 of you.

Thanks for the tip. We like to visit the resorts to see the decor and landscaping, and took the boat over to POFQ last year and was impressed.

Started with a couple of stays at All Star Sports, then tried Coronado Springs, onto Old Key West for a couple of trips and next week we are trying Grand Floridian for the first time. Prior to those we grew up at offsite hotels

In Paris we have stayed at Newport Bay Club, Hotel New York and Disneyland Hotel, whilst in California just the Disneyland Hotel.

Yeah, they're nice. Not as fancy as some of the others, but they never claim otherwise. Plus there are some nice touches, like the 3 Caballeros in the main pool at All Star Music.
