What planet would you replace Batuu at Disneyland?

I know but it’s a fantasy. That mini land at the studios was just a small set. A giant area with fake and real trees would’ve been pretty cool. Too expensive though.
There’s actual no such thing in the monster Disney has become...

I agree with your desire/sentiment. But alas...No

It sounds like everyone has great ideas for a different planet than Batuu.
From now on let's just Pick a planet you like and describe what you want in it.
If you wanna take this seriously, I think op is looking for an answer like this

Yes I am looking for answers like this.
Just gonna repost my response from the other thread. I would pick Tatooine. PEOPLE WANT TO EXPERIENCE THE LOCATIONS FROM THE MOVIE. It is why Wizarding World works and keeps getting expansions and is in multiple parks. In Tatooine you would be able to do the following:
1 Go visit Luke's home and sit at the same table he and Anakin did. you could sell AUNT BERU'S HOME MADE BLUE MILK there.
visit the garage where he gave 3P0 a bath and took the restraining bolt of R2
2. you could visit Jabba's Palace with a fully working Jabba AA. hell even have solo in carboinite in there.
have a ride based around the rancor and sarlacc pitt with working AA's of both plus you can have bobba fett walking around and the max rebo band and dancers and tons of aliens and droids
3. you can go to the ACTUAL FILM PRESENTED cantina with the band playing the song. visit the counter where luke stood. sit at the table Han sat at and killed greedo at.
4. Since this is where we first ever saw the falcon you can keep your falcon ride in the land and it would work better because you can get ride of pointless hondo and bring in Han and Chewie.
5. you can have a pod race ride on the outskirs along with sand people walking around and sand crawlers and dew backs.
you can keep the droid depot run only by Jawas this time inside a sand crawler.

6. you can have a BUILD YOUR LIGHTSABER show only this time it is in Obi-wan's home which is where luke first was presented with Anakin's saber and where he built his green one. and you can have force ghost Obi-Wan and force ghost Yoda lead the show instead of cast memebers who can't act.

this and much more you can do with tatooine.

This a great example of what I am looking for.

Y'all are old and boring. Nothing anyone has proposed would work better than Batuu except. If you want to visit Tatooine with Luke's home and Mos Eisley, go to the Tunisian Desert. If you want the cantina, go to Hollywood Blvd. I want original adventures that don't retread what I can experience by watching the movie. Tatooine, Bespin, Endor, Coruscant. What have you. All old and boring. Batuu isn't perfect and definitely needs work, but it's something more creative than what's already been done. If it was up to y'all, Star Wars never would've even been made since it wasn't something you were already familiar with.

None. There is no well-known planet in SW that would translate into a pleasant theme park land. That’s the very problem with the way Disney tried to shoehorn SW into a Potter-style land. Hogwarts, Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley are the heart of the Potter stories. They’re “home” to the characters. SW is about people on the run across a variety of generally hostile environments.

Disney should have started by creating several thrilling SW attractions based on the franchise’s most exciting elements, then creating a fun, pleasant, colorful tribute land to house them all. Then filled it with popular SW characters, music and fun. Because it’s Disneyland.

But no they didn’t start with the rides.

As others have said tattoinne is the obvious choice as its featured most prominently in the original movies and offers lots of potential, I love the Jabba palace idea and you could also add a bantha ride.

The aesthetics of endor would be nice as a forested land but it suffers from not having recognisable places for shopping and dining. It could work in California but might be a little too similar to pandora in florida.

Id love to see a Hoth land with a snowspeeder AT AT coaster and tauntaun ride but it would suffer the same as endor from not enough shopping and dining tie ins

Corusant is the only other environment i would see working well as a futuristic city land. You could still have the rides from galaxies edge and add a speeder attraction, the lightsaber and droid shops could it and youd have a few opportunities for dining like the diner fron attach of the clones etc. You could also add some different attractions like a show in the opera house from attrack of the clones or an updated jedi academy in the training temple with an animatronic yoda. The only problems would be it would be hard to get the kinetic feeling of big city with flying cars etc and its not OT but prequel so will be doomed from the start!

A prequel trilogy land would work just as well as an original trilogy land. Your just aiming at a different age group. That age group in their 30s has younger families of kids and are more likely to go to Disneyland. The original trilogy age group is in the 50s and has outgrown Disneyland. (hopefully) I guess they could take their grandkids.

I’m gonna give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you were in a coma “99-05”??

DHS' Batuu replaced with Endor filled with to-scale trees; sight-lines be damned.
A speeder roller coaster in the vein of Hagrid's Motorbike Adventrue and voila!

DLR's SWL will just be a bus to Redwood National Park and the keys to a bunch of dirt bikes.

Regardless of what the internet says, there are people that liked it. It's their star wars. It ain't mine though.

But it completely ignores the raging fan battle that has raged since 1999: it’s not JUST about the label.

The reason the originals did what they did is because the characters and story sold it.

The prequels did not and it started problems

Disney is dealing with those problems and struggling to understand the issues brought to light then.

But back on thread: never in a million years would Disney build A prequel land. They wouldn’t even consider it.

Talking about age demographics matters...but that ignores the actual problem: crappy material.

If it's just one land? Batuu works. I'd love Tatooine, but I think it works only if in conjunction with other planets in a larger park. Coruscant? No good on its own. Dagobah? No good on its own.

But to answer the OP, I'd say that Batuu could be replaced by a different, more vibrant, new planet. On it would be various portals (attractions) to different parts of Star Wars history. Actually, the "Earth" answer was pretty good! The park itself is on earth, themed with a Star-Warsy look (I mean graphics and logos, not ROCKZ) and the attractions take care of the immersion.

I think any spaceport “nice design”’combined with a split level where an interior mock up that puts you “into space” would have worked fine. Like the living seas “hydrolater” concept.

This isn’t that tough

I think Corusant would work if only ( I am going to get a lot of people mad) they demolish toontown and fantasy theature. I think it needs more land for it to work.
