What park will get the next "major" attraction and when will it be announced?

They just built EE, TSM is heading to hollywood, I don't see anything for Epcot. I am saying that we will see a new coaster/thrill ride at magic kingdom, the last coaster/thrill ride (besides Stitch:hammer:) was Splash Mountain in 92'! THEY NEED A NEW BIG RIDE!

What about Universe of Energy? :brick:

Jeapordy, nor Alex Trebek for that matter look like that anymore lol :ROFLOL:

Not to mention, theres a lot more Energy problems today than there was in 1996. Back in '96 gas was like barely a dollar and change a gallon.

Either World Showcase or Animal Kingdom needs to get a new attraction. Magic Kingdom is fine at the moment, and DHS sounds as if it already has several things brewing.

To me all the new attraction money should be pumped into AK and DHS. Why even bother adding to MK or Epcot right now? AK and DHS are half-day parks that you can stretch to a day if you want to see everything. These parks need so much it shouldn't matter that they 'just got something' or whatever. MK and Epcot are at the very least an entire day each, and you still can't see everything.

MK should just focus on refurbs, as there are PLENTY of attractions there. A new E-ticket going to MK would boggle my mind when it is already the most popular park in the world, literally, and you have DHS and AK starving for top tier attractions.

the only way I see MK being the next in line for an E is if Disney's "market research" people told their higher-ups that the top reason for people not coming back to WDW is the lines. then said higher-ups might consider putting an E in there to redistribute the crowds.

though anyone could tell them that this would bring more crowds to MK (thus making even more people vow to never return) and that an E anywhere in WDW would have the same effect, if not moreso.

anyway, I think it'll be DHS.

Here's how I see the hierarchy:

--At the top, we have Disney's Hollywood Studios. IMO, it's currently the weakest park in terms of full-day attraction assortment. I don't even think it really needs a new E-ticket, but rather a few C and D tickets to balance out the big two of Tower of Terror and Rock 'n Rollercoaster. Toy Story Mania seems to fit nicely into this category, with hopefully more to come.

--Next, I see Disney's Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom at about an equal level of needing attractions. Like DHS, I don't think that DAK necessarily needs more E-tickets, but rather more diversity in its attraction offerings--more B, C, and D tickets outside of DinoRama. On the other hand, Magic Kingdom has the best assortment of attractions...it's just been so long since it got a good E ticket. Strictly speaking, it doesn't need a new attraction, but one would be good for the park's overall health.

--Finally, Epcot. It has almost as good an attraction assorment as Magic Kingdom, and has received two major E-tickets in recent years, along with several smaller attractions and significant upgrades to existing attractions. While there are some notable weak points in the park (Imagination, Wonders of Life) and while it would be awfully nice to have a new attraction/pavilion in World Showcase, Epcot is currently doing pretty well for itself.
