We always stay in the MK resort area so we always visit the Magic Kingdom on arrival day. The next day, first full day, we usually got to the Animal Kingdom.

Usually the first full day and last full day are the MK. Arrival day, it just depends on what we think we want to do. This trip it's going to be a stop over at the AK for the evening just to give us a little extra time to explore the Pandora area.

It always depends on which Fastpass+ and dinner reservations we have. For example next week we were able to secure a Frozen followed by Cape May and then Frozen ever After Dessert Party for our arrival day. We go where we have plans.

So every trip we usually start with Magic Kingdom! As we get older though we are leaning towards EPCOT! This past weekend was the first time we went to EPCOT first. The reason is because Flower and Garden and Smash Mouth was playing! Now Magic Kingdom is behind Animal Kingdom and EPCOT. We don’t even drink but find all the things there to do more interesting. Anyway, here is a video of day 1 of our long weekend trip! Hope you enjoy and feel free to share!

Typically MK first, MK last. There have been exceptions tho.

It has always been MK for us, but, during our last visit last fall, over our 8 day stay we spent our first and last day at MK, plus half of our second day at MK as well for MNSSHP, so my DW is determined that we will only be headed to DAK for our first day of our trip next fall, and only to MK for MVMCP and for our last day. Not really thrilled about this idea-the biggest highlight, for me anyway, of our trips to WDW is walking down MS and getting that first glimpse of the castle at the start of our first park day. Maybe it won't feel that different starting at DAK (or DHS or Epcot) but I know I won't really feel like I'm at WDW until I see that castle.

Every single trip I have ever gone on started with the Magic Kingdom. But this year, since I am starting my trip staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, it's Animal Kingdom. It's going to feel odd that morning not walking down Main Street USA!! But I still have the Magic Kingdom planned my first night! lol

I still have only done the Magic Kingdom on my very last day. For years I always did the Magic Kingdom the last night, but I think my last 3 or 4 Walt Disney World trips I spent the last night at my favorite park - EPCOT Center.

Ideally, it would be MK first full day and last full day. If it is a partial (travel day) than EPCOT. The problem is we usually have the Halloween or Christmas Parties and those tend to not be our first full day. Last year it worked both times for our last full days.

It really depends on which park has Magic Hours. If MK doesn't have it then I will go there. If it does, flip a coin for the others. I like the other parks too, especially Epcot, but, since MK was the first one I went to on my first visit that is where I habitually head. But, on or offsite I do not go to any park that has the special hours.

We always visit in the order they were built.

Monday - Magic Kingdom

Tuesday - Epcot

Wednesday - Disney-MGM Studios

Thursday - Animal Kingdom in the morning, then we get bored because Animal Kingdom kind of sucks, and go back to Epcot and explore World Showcase.

Friday - All four parks, backwards. Animal Kingdom first for a last trip on Everest, then skedaddle over to MGM for Tower of Terror and Spaceballs, Lunch at Epcot, then evening at the Magic Kingdom for souvenir shopping, dinner (Taco Salad at Pecos Bill's!), and watching the fireworks over Seven Seas Lagoon from the ferry.
