If we were looking at character meals...Star Wars, Muppets, Pixar, Marvel, or pirate would be great.

I had also posted an idea a while back that I'm still a fan of...I'd like a restaurant in Epcot to showcase the diverse cuisine in the US. I'd like rooms and areas dedicated to certain regions or cities in the US and a menu that offers several offerings from some of the regional offerings in the various parts of the US. I'd also like to see comparision platters...like NY vs. Chicago pizza, a BBQ sampler- TX, Carolina, KC, Memphis, and even a seafood platter - i.e. New England vs. Gulf Coast vs. Other iconic areas. There should also be things like southwest vs. Tex Mex, comparison between Cajun and Creole, maybe popular cheeses and sausages from different areas, and so on. The decor would also be a blast...you could dine in NY on or beneath the Brooklyn Bridge...in the middle of the French Quarter...on a cafe in South Beach...etc.

I love this idea! With so many overseas visitors, truly representing the depth of American foods would be a fantastic thing. Plus, I'd love to be able to get regional specialties that are my favorites when I visit.

In terms of a theme restaurant though a Swedish chef restaurant and Mos Eisley Cantina at DHS would be good additions.

Bringing back Ariel's is I want to see except for a change. Ariel's was a seafood restaurant that had food like Lobster, but didn't have the Little mermaid theme as people with kids expected at the time.

What I basically want with Ariels is having it being a seafood place again, but with a little mermaid theme.

I actually would like to see a restaurant that has Polish foods such as Cheese Pierogi and I am sure that it would be popular restaurant.

So...um...will Flounder be the signature dish?

What about a Candy themed place to play off of Wreck It Ralph? Or perhaps an Alice in Wonderland themed restaurant in England? I think a restaurant showcasing all the latest in culinary arts (i.e special techniques for cooking) would be awesome at the Contemporary. I definitely think that they should open a Tiana's Palace on the Riverboat ride or on the shoreline in MK. If not there, why not at POR?

Good call! Contemporary would be a great place to offer a restaurant specializing in Molecular Gastronomy. Obviously, Cali Grill is already having its refurb, but imagine The Wave being repurposed for that. I like it. :)
