what a great combination she is! i can never understand why people think so little of putting a dog down... it breaks my heart everytime i hear of it...:cry:

thank goodness you were able to rescue her!

OH, what a cute baby! You must be a really proud daddy! That is sort of how we got our dog. A local guy had Mitzi's mom and decided he was going to have her put down instead of taking responsibility and getting her spade. She kept ending up at my inlaws, they would take her home, the guy would let her out and back she would be. My FIL decided to take her in to save her. Two weeks later, 11 puppies. Mitzi is one of those puppies. Can't imagine life without her now. Glad to hear you took in Dusty. She is one lucky pooch!

I loved the photos. I especially love Toaster yawning :lol: . I must say I also peeked at your wedding photos. I had a tear in my eye, they are so wonderfull. Love the close up of you also...just beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

I have a doggy named Casey, who is a collie/german shepherd mix (he has golden fur) and a kitty named Salem who is black. I also have an obnoxious Betta Fish who hates me named JAWS. Used to have a hampster, but the cat ate him...little blood pawprints on the bathroom floor were all that remained...

I had a parakeet, HAD, past tense, but Dusty got him. I heard this CRASH in the living. A few moments later, Dusty came proudly prancing into the family room with a wing sticking out of her mouth.

I have two betta fish; a red one named Manfred and a blue one named Gollum. I also have a kitten (well, he's a cat now, but I still refer to him as a kitten) named Toby. And I'm getting another betta when I come home from WDW in June. :)

I have a 17 year old shih tzu named Junior, he is my baby, but he is really starting to feel his age.....he has arthritis and is blind, and I know the time is soon coming that he will no longer be with me.......it breaks my heart!
I also have 2 cats, prissy vain Miss Kitty (she thinks she is the queen of cats instead of the Humand Society refugee that she actually is) and our formerly homeless big boy Mr Handsomo Bibbs........I never thought I was a cat person, but they are actually a lot of fun!

3 house cats: Punkin (calico), Abbey (grey/brown tabbey), Crickett (black)

and a garden pond absolutely teeming with $.20 goldfish! those little guys are tough cookies!

i could name all my previous pets, but we'd be here a while :animwink: so i'll just name Mandy...my Alaskian Malamute. she was about 16 or 17 when she died last Oct. :(

We have a 4 yr old male yellow lab named GARTH (after Garth Brooks) a 9 month old female black lab named DISNEY and a 11+ yr old male Africian Gray bird named ROCKY. (who talks more than I do LOL) Its so awesome to hear him call his brother and sister and watch them run from the other room into the living and look around to see who was calling them and then hear ROCKY laugh. :lol:

7 fish,2 cats,a bird and a turtle......our black and white kitty is named Figaro:) . I had a hampster named Mickey at one point,and a cat named Simba.

Well, I couldn't wait until June to get another fishie. I got him yesterday. He's red/black/blue and his name is Nemo (like Captain Nemo, not that new fish movie or whatever). So now I've got 3 betta fish: Manfred, Gollum, & Nemo. And my kitten, Toby.
