What kind of Disney fan are you?

I am a fan of Walt Disney and the theme parks. I really dont like all the new stuff that Disney has done, Im only 17 years old but I really do believe in the philosophy of Walt Disney. I wish that they would still do things as Walt would of had them done. I know alot about the history of the theme parks and some things I agree with Disney doing today and some things i disagree with. That would be awesome if Walt was still alive today, I really wish that he was.

Great idea for a thread!

1) My main love is the theme parks. Going to Disneyland once a year as a kid really gave me my first love of Disney. Not only do I love all the parks themselves (yeah even DCA), but I'm always interested in reading up on their history. In fact the E-Ticket Magazine was one of my favorites.
2) Love watching the animated features.
3) I love reading biographies and quotes of Walt Disney himself.
4) I'm interested reading about anything Disney from the 70's. I find the company's history between Walt and Eisner to be fascinating, and there is truly very little written about it.

Recently I was into watching a lot of the older live action Disney films from Walt's time as well the pre-Eisner era.

I see myself as a big fan of Disney. I love all things Disney. I love the movies and the theme parks and everything Disney. I am a Disney child, because I am a child so I love the childlike things in Disney. I am also a Disney adult because I am an adult so I love the adultlike things in Disney. The adultlike things about me and the childlike things about me are both a part of who I am :king:

A lot of this is like a story. I live in the story. It can also be like a movie that I live in. What some people may not know is that when I make a Disney photo thread that many times I will think about what order I want to put the photos in. Sometimes I also think about what title I want to use for my photo thread. I also have some disney photos that are in what I call my magic vault. I have some disney photos that I really love that I will post on public Disney message boards later in the time of magic. I feel that if I wait until later in time to post them that it will give them extra magic and so I say I am keeping them in my magic vault. Also this whole idea of a magic vault is just so much fun.

I also love to live the magic with Disney films. I have fun with these dvds also. I have characters sign their dvds. I also have photos of characters holding dvds that they are in and sometimes I will hold the dvd. Also sometimes if I have a movie on dvd and if another dvd edition is coming out, I will put my old edition in the magic vault and not take it out until later in the time of magic. Many times I feel that if I don't want this movie for a couple of months that it will give me extra magic when I see it on it's new edition. When the new edition comes out many times I bring the old edition out of my magic vault. I like to compare 2 different editions of the same Disney movie.

I'm definitely a fan of the older Disney short animations. Some of the earlier cartoon episodes were nice, I'm still a big fan of "Mickey's Christmas Carol" and "On Vacation With Mickey Mouse".

As far as the parks go, I'm a dork for all of them. I really like Hollywood Studios now, but I'll always gravitate back to Magic Kingdom for the classics. I never miss Peter Pan, Snow White or walking through Cinderella's Castle when visiting. Spend a lot of time at Epcot as well, good food and drink, plus you can't beat Off Kilter!!:sohappy:
