What Items Have You Left?

Last March I was in line for Spalsh and I always move my wallet from my back pocket to my cargo pocket so it doesnt get wet if i sit in a puddle. My GF asked me to hold some of her things as well. So, pockets full we got in our log and pulled down the brand new lap bar and off we went. When we got back I went to move my belongings back to there places and my wallet was gone. I Imagine that since my pockets were so full the lap bar flipped it out of my pocket as we pulled it down. We got the log number off of our on ride photo, and with the help of a CM that took his job waaaay to seriously, I got my wallet back when the log returned to load/unload.

A few years before that, I was at WDW with a friend an his family. When we returned home and headed for the car in the parking garage at the airport, his mom realized she left the car keys in the room safe at Fort Wilderness! We had to take an airport shuttle home and Disney mailed their keys a few days later.

I didn't actually lose this but left it intentionally. We bought a cheap toaster at Wal Mart (about $5-$6) and used it for our breakfast, toasting bagels and bread that we had brought. There wasn't any room for it in our luggage when we packed to return home so we just left it. Even with losing the cost of the toaster it is still cheaper than eating at the resort.

My Mom lost her glasses at Typhoon Lagoon in the wave pool! We thought it was going to be hopeless. They were found within a few minutes. Those cast members are amazing!

I lost a pair of sandals at Bilizzard beach while we evacuated due to a storm and they were shutting it down. I didn't realised I lost them though till I got home from my vacation. No big deal though they were cheap rubber ones anyway.

I, too, left a pair of sunglasses. Sadly there were not found and I had to go somewhere off premises to get another pair of Native sunglasses. Now I always wear a Walt Disney croakie with them when I'm at the parks and at home.

I lost a pair of Native glasses that were not recovered. I now use a croakie from WD to hold them around my neck when I'm at the parks and have not lost a pair yet.

My mom left her camera at a snack cart - picked it up at lost & found...no problems.

My sister took off her engagement and wedding rings to apply more sunscreen while in Country Bear Jamboree. When the show was over, we noticed there was only 10 minutes until our Splash Mountain FP was up (yes - we thought you had to go in that window of time...which now you do) so we sprinted over there and while in the queue my sister realizes she forgot her rings. So her and my mom use the chicken exit and bolt down there = to find just her wedding ring. Someone snagged the engagement ring (luckily insured!) but we called Lost and Found and went back to CBJ numerous times to check and no luck. Gone forever.

And not at Disney but on the way home - I put my IPod in the pocket of the seat in front of me on the plane and forgot it. My bad

One year I lost my camera, my sister had it on her lap during the show at One Man's Dream and when she got up to leave it fell off without her realizing she dropped it. When we went back to ask the CM no one had turned it in yet. We asked the lost & found and still no one turned it in. We went to Fantasmic that night and some kid came up to my dad and said hey I think this is yours, he knew it was ours because he looked through the pics & recognized us in the crowd at Fantasmic! I was shocked, out of that huge crowd at Fantasmic he found us, so my dad gave him a little reward for returnig it:sohappy:

I removed cell phone from belt clip before riding TOT and put it in my shorts pocket. It still came out of my pocket and was left behind. I went to the desk in the exit area and told them. As we were speaking she got a call saying it was found and was on its way to me.

Back in the early 90's I had one of those small pink cameras where you would put the disposable flash on the top to take indoor pics and had it in a camera bag. I left in on the (then) Dreamflight and thought it was gone for good. Someone called us and told us it was found after we got back home and they sent it back to us. Good thing it had a little luggage tag on it that I insisted on putting on it at the airport with my name and phone number!! lol

Also my sisters friend set my sisters camera on the floor under her seat at Who Wants To Be A Millionaire and forgot it when the show was over. Checked lost and found everyday and the camera never reappeared :(
