What is your favorite special event at WDW?

What is your favorite Disney-sponsored special event at WDW? I would have to go with the Epcot Food and Wine Festival myself, but I know that many others enjoy the Osbourne Family Lights at MGM (which is starting up again very soon).

Mine is a tie between the Flower and Garden show and the Food and Wine. I like to see what Disney does there with the flowers and I like to taste the food from around the wrold.

I have to go with Star Wars Weekends. It's the only time I've ever seen my husband act like "a kid in a candy store". :lol: :lookaroun

My vote may change after the Princess and Pirates event. That sounds awesome!

Ooh, tough question...I've been to all of the ones listed and many of the ones that are not listed. But, at the moment, I'm going to say that my favorite is Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Now that I most likely will be going to WDW this December that is the one that I am thinking about the most!

I've never actually experienced any of these (except for the Food and Wine Festival, as of this evening) but I voted for the Halloween Party. Just because Halloween rocks.

Flower and Garden Festival.....I absolutley love it!

But, out of the ones I haven't been to....I would probably love MNSSHP. I've always wanted to go to that!

Flower & Garden Festival

Well since I have only been to WDW in May, I have only attended the Flower & Garden Festival, which I love, as an avid gardener I love seeing all the flowers, topiary's. I only wish my little garden would look as good.

Next May when we are there I think Star Wars will be ongoing and as a big Star Wars Fan, I can't wait.

I am trying to talk DH into going in the fall 07, so we can hit the Food and Wine Festival and perhaps MNSSHP, I would love to see that Headless Horseman! I don't know two trips in one year, I will really have to save.

All of the festivals are great in their own way - with Flower & Garden & the Christmas events being the most beautiful, and the Haloween decorations the most 'fun', but for pure enjoyment you can't beat the flavors and events of the Food & Wine Festival, the Party for the Senses being a hilight of my whole year! :slurp:

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party without a doubt. And thats also the only thing I have seen. I plan on seeing the Halloween Party one day. I am a huge Star Wars fan but I have desire to doto Star Wars weekends.

What about ESPN the Weekend?? I believe that it the best event that goes on each year at Disney. I wouldn't mind going to Epcot during the Food & Wine Festival though.

Night Of Joy is the best!! The only other one's I've been to are MVMCP and Flower and Garden, but Night Of Joy is my choice for the coolest bestest WDW event of the year!
