Even if I preferred things now, the decade is too immature to rate. :veryconfu

I, too, Remember the Magic :animwink: and voted 90s. And my vote has nothing to with any sort of feelings about Eisner.

Maybe so...

I find it interesting that, so far, no one has voted for the 1970s as their favorite decade. I guess WDW wasn't so "magical" when it only included the Magic Kingdom. :)

I found it quite magical! I have fond memories of IASW, my father telling me there's no reason to be afraid ( SM, HM). I also remember 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea ( scary too)

So far the 1970s is in last place with only 2 votes. Somewhat surprising since people romanticize the early years of WDW as a golden era. Certainly WDW would have been "closer" to Walt's and Roy's vision of the Magic Kingdom. On the other hand, with just MK open in, WDW wasn't much of a "world" in the 1970s, just "Disneyland East".

We only started going in 2008, so my choices were limited. I chose the 2000's, because our 08 trip spoiled us. The crowds were extremely low and we had a blast! I just wish I had known about Free Dining.

My parents took my sister and I the first year the MK was open and several times after that, sometimes bringing along my favorite cousin, so for that I'd say the '70s. I visited a few times with my family in the '80s, although my dad had passed away. Epcot was so much fun in its early years. One time we took my 90-year-old aunt and she had a fine time! So those are good memories as well.

There was a long break before I visited DW again in the late '90s, a few times with my family and another time with my boyfriend. Those were great visits as well, with most of the original attractions still at Epcot and the addition of MGM Studios. Once again, those memories are awesome. Most recently, my husband and I have been three times between 2007 and 2010. These visits were different from my previous ones in wonderful ways and also they brought back all those former precious memories.

So for me, ALL the decades of DW have been magical!
