What is your 1st Ride Ritual when arriving at WDW

THings have changed now that we have kids but before our girls our first day at the parks would be spent at MK. I always want to get there early to watch the opening show. After that we'd usually hit Space Mountain first and grab fastpasses to ride again later in the morning before heading elsewhere around the park.

Nowadays, I'll still want to be at the park early for the opening show but I'm not sure it's going to be as easy with two kids under 4! Space will also be bypassed and dumbo, Peter Pan or possibly the new Mine Car ride will likely be our first stop.

I usually arrive after dinner, so I dont want to use one of my park days, so I usually drop off the bags and explore the resort a bit, grab a meal and hit the pool.

Day two, I do try to make MK my first park if I can, no particular first ride though, it usually takes me a bit of time to pull myself off of Main Street.

While we don't always ride the same ride upon arrival, when enterin Magic Kingdom we always like to walk down Main Street and then head right into Tomorrowland.

Every time my family and I arrive at Walt Disney World, we always stop by the Magic Kingdom first and make sure to ride PoTC first. Not really sure how this started other than we took a family vote ( I know, how Brady Bunch of us) one time before our trip to WDW. Now it has become part of our family ritual when we go down to Disney. I was just curious if anyone else had any rituals or routines that they follow while they were at Disney.
Pirates of the Caribean 1st every time! Yo oh yo go

My first ride is a ride in my car to a car wash to get the bugs and grim off of it before it can do damage from the 11hr road trip. Yep, I'm that guy!

As far as park rides go, my fiancé, like everyone else always has to start in MK with either HM or POTC.

The Epcot Manifesto
I tend to try and perform a standard animal sacrifice ritual, giving the blood of a goat to the Voodoo god Ghede to ask for help getting to the front of the lines quicker.
If I have a hard time getting a goat through the bag check lines, I'll swap out one of those funny little lizards you see running all around the place. It's not quite as effective, but I think it shaves a few minutes off my standby times here or there.

Heading for the great escape.
I sacrifice a small mammal caught in the resort grounds and use the blood as face paint, Disney themed of course.

Damn cat.

Then I board EE, and screech primeval chants

I've never ridden the People-mover during the day.

Wow, same with us. Sometimes we start in Fantasyland, sometimes in Adventureland, but we always go to Tomorrowland at night. Something about the way it's lit, I think. Love it at night, especially the peoplemover.

We have no first ride tradition, but where we end up at MK is always a given.

Our trips are never the same. I guess it all depends what park we start out at.

MK is usually Space Mountain
AK is always Safari
HS is either RnR or ToT
Epcot is probably SSE because we usually arrive there later in the day.
