I really don't like the clown coaster idea. Why can't they just simply theme it to a traveling circus/ carnival roller coaster? Much easier and less scary.

I believe it will be these guys. The clowns playing fireman.
Kinda cute. Certainly not in the league with Pennywise in my other post.:lol:

Indeed, the Dumbo clowns from that scene could be "cute", but this could all end up with complaints at City Hall if not done carefully. Remember we've never seen those clowns in three dimensions.
The clowns in Dumbo are actually meant to be upsetting, miserable creatures to the title character and are in no way "fun" for him. Of course in the end he becomes the big circus star with insured ears, but it doesn't change the fact that they were total a**es to him in the first place, and are designed in an unappealing way to begin with (remember the "Dumbo's Mom" clown?).
Casey Jr. or the traveling coaster theme would be much better IMO. If they go with the "traveling" theme they could make it resemble the one from State Fair (1945) or some other idyllic small town thrill experience.

I'm actually really sad about them changing the theme for Barnstormer. I really like the cozy and highly detailed feel it has.
And on top of destroying that, they're going to make it a Clown Coaster?

Exactly! I actually like Stitch though.
Many young children fear the characters yet they appear in the parks. I have a fiend afraid of BALLOONS so you're telling me balloons shouldn't be in WDW?
I think the clown coaster is a good idea but I was hoping fro Casey Jr. I imagined hearing "I think I can, I think I can..." along the lift. :sohappy:

He says that at DL during the uphill portion! very cute ride. the fun thing is, depending on the driver, the train can go really fast :lol: it can be a little scary hehe.

It would be very easy to re theme this to a cute circus clown/ animal circus train ride. Since our friend Goof flew the plane right through the barn, change the shape from plane to an train, and theme it as run-away circus train, and the silly clowns are having no luck trying herd in all the animals. Then theme the area around the ride to incorporate some animatronics of animals, birds, clowns hanging off and around the track. Make it fun.:sohappy:

All I can say is... ugh. I get the re-theming, and think it could be good when complete. The reason for my "ugh" is....
I like Barnstormer. More importantly, my boys like Barnstormer. And they LOVE Goofy. When I told them Barnstormer was going to be changed, they were devastated. It's the slow removal of most classic characters from the parks that bugs me the most.
