What is the worst job @ WDW?

A toss up between the guy that has to turn people away from the full parks or the guy who has to walk behind the horses waiting for them to drop a deuce. Talk about dirty jobs.

I am sorry but I have to say being one of the characters has got to be the hardest....not necessarily the worst!

Imagine those costumes in 100 degree temps and high humidity....NO THANKS!!!!!:fork:

I would hate to work at the Tomorrowland Indy Speedway. I found the loud engine sounds and the smell of gasoline highly irritating and I was only in line for 20 minutes. I can't imagine having to put up with it all day :dazzle:

Well, I know someone who is in a character suit and she said the other day she was only out for 10-20 mins, but she also dances in that. When she got backstage, the managers rushed over to her b/c her face was purple, and a lot of the performers got sick from the heat.

The stuff people endure to put a smile on a kids face, hats off to them.

I'd have to agree with this. I could never deal with those noises and that smell day in and day out.

My DH and I dream of retiring and working at Disney. I always joke and say we'd take a job no matter how miserable (even horse clean-up detail!) I agree with banimall ..."hats off to all" they make our memories special!!!!

Housekeeping.

If you actually knew the story about what savages and animals actually stay at some of the high-end resorts at disney and how they trash their rooms, you'd be amazed.

Entertainment, while hot and sweaty and occasionally gets jumped by the aforementioned savages and animals, has nothing on those that actually clean up after the guests.

I think one of the worst jobs would be cleaing the restrooms. People are so gross. we always wondered if they lived that way at home. Sure hope not.....

I can only imagine how people trash their resort rooms. I look at it this way, I paid for the room for the week, that makes it my home for the week. I don't trash my own home, I certainly would not trash someone elses, and I will not trash a hotel room. I try to keep it as neat as possible, the only thing they need to do is make the bed and bring fresh towels.

Actually the worst job at WDW would be to get stuck in an office somewhere and never see the parks.
Just you and your cubicle.

:)

Well, let's look at the positive side....you may be stuck behind a computer in a cubicle in an office somewhere....but hey! at least you'd be working at WDW! ...and probably making a padload of money, too!:)

Worst job would be janitor for those people who work in the cubes in an office not exactly in the parks. Poor guy doesn't even get to sit and dream about the Mouse.

Trust me, I don't work at Disney, but I do work in a cubical and yes that would be the worst job to do. Those three walls get real small after a while.:hammer:

I always hate the idea of working in the ticket sales booth - not sure why.

The hardest job - how about being in the Block Party Bash parade - those guys put in an insane amount of effort - I have no idea how someone can have that much energy!
