I believe the OP is referring to a Halloween event at MGM studios that was to rival Universal's Halloween Horror Nights. I read about it in the 2007 edition of the Unofficial Guide to WDW. It was to have a name that incorporated the Nightmare Before Christmas story and, I assume, the characters as well. I'm assuming that it never came to fruition. The guide book did come out last September (in 2006) so perhaps this was the idea at the time that it would be coming to the studios in 2007 and it just never made it. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but that's what I remember reading (although, my memory isn't what it used to be!!!:hammer:)

I hope this helps!

DMC-12

It's HarmonioUS, NOT HarmoniYOU.
It includes Deal/No Deal, ER and the most frightning of all FRIENDS  !

 See, THAT was good.

BTW... I meant no harm in the other thread... its just.. emotions were running high. I have nothing against ya.. and I tend to enjoy your posts. / not being sarcastic either.

If your referring to the overlay that DL haunted mansion gets, then it'll never happen. If your referring to something else, then see other replies.

The Nightmare Before Christmas is -

"You're stuck in the Stitch's Great Escape attraction on December 24th because the exit doors won't open. After 7 hours, Disney sends in some food through a small opening in the roof but it's meat loaf and green bean casserole."

Me too. Guess I got put in my place by others. Sorry. I was happy somebody did laugh at my smell comment :animwink: . I have a hard time distinguishing between banter and offensive. I also don't see the harm my posts can make. Yeah, I tend to judge myeslf with a smaller scale than others. Oh hell  . My wife does a great job of keeping me in line in real life -- but I can't control my loose cannon online. Sorry too. Once the ball gets rolling.... How come Corrus is a voice of reason?

I think Chili Dogs would be a more appropriate food in there!

Yea..

Yea WDW will never get the HM NBC overlay, but it just got all kinds of new goodies and upgrades to be revealed to passholders on September 14th 9am - 12am. (Not sure when it will be open to the public.)

"The Nightmare Before Christmas" is a Tim Burton film. That is all. A good one at that.

Disney will never do anything like HHN because its Disney. Thats why they have MNSSHP (Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party). Disney is a family oriented place. Universal Studios HHN states "This event may be too frightning for children". Which is obviously not family oriented.

anyone else willing to give a limb to Disney if they'd build a permanent Nightmare Before Christmas dark ride?

ok, maybe not a limb. But i'd give a toe. A small one.

i second that!!.. The imagineers could have a lot of fun with that. Its a great movie with alot of fun charecters and neat settings. a cool thing would be like a swirling vortex of snow when going to Christmas town.. like in the movie :xmas:
