What is the dining plan?

Yes, it is only available if you book a package including a stay at a Disney resort.

For about $40ish/day, you get 1 counter service meal, 1 table service meal, and 1 snack every day of your stay.
You're going to offsite, right? So since you can't get the plan, you guys may be better off getting your lunch in the parks as counter service, then eating off-site for dinner. You can still book a few table service meals in the parks in restaurants you'd really like to try.

As previous - You must stay at a WDW Resort Hotel.

We've booked with Virgin for 2008 - their terms for the DP are that you must stay at a Resort Hotel AND you must purchase your Park Tickets and the DP with them. They are charging £20 per adult park ticket more than some UK companies on the internet AND they are charging £28 per adult per day for the DP. This makes it very expensive (we're not doing the DP)

The dining plan is great...especially the free dining plan!:D
I hope WDW continues to offer this great deal!:slurp:
If so, we will get to visit more often!
