The Osborne stuff was still being stored inside......it did not look like any work was going on (it does not look they they will be using the theater in the near future)

The building opposite the old Backlot Theater, near the entrance to LMA was also surrounded by construction walls last weekend. Right next to the walls were two carts selling LMA merchandise.

If you want my best guess... I have a feeling we might be seeing a gift shop soon.

I was very disapointed when I found out they just printed it out on some durable material and put it on a building.. I thought they painted it...

It's Simple

Bob Iger was at the park. He told them it looked awful in comparison to NY. He asked them to take it down and try again.

They are going to hire a different artist and try again

It makes sense to get rid of that small LMA cart, and fully merchandise the show to the "extreme" with a new gift shop, since it is supposed to be Disney-MGM studios new attention getter.

maybe they realized the streets are a waste of space and they are going to add another attraction. It is just my opinion but I would rather have a ride or a show than these streets. Maybe it is because I work in NY but the NY street is boring and SF they just took part of NY and added the backdrop that is now down.

I would love to see an Incredibles show in the old Hunchback theater. I think the Streets of America would be the perfect venue for the show too. Only time will tell what the plans will be for the old theater. The Osbourne stuff could be stored in one of the empty soundstages.

The slinky dog looks cool, great addition.
