Hi all, I keep hearing about DisneyQuest on various wdw sites and just wondered what it is? Is it a seperate park or a mini park or is it a ride or attraction or part of an exisiting park? What do you do there?

As you can see, as much info about this as you can would be a great help!

Disney Quest is an enhanced video arcade. It costs ~$29 to get in and then all the video games are free, (with minor exceptions). They have VR rides also. There is also a area where you can learn to draw Mickey Mouse, and create your own toy(s) in sids area (toy story motif) and if you want to buy that toy you created you can. It is a fun place to spend time if it is raining and you are at WDW as a guest.

DisneyQuest is in Downtown Disney West Side (right next to Cirque de Soleil). We have fun spending time there--playing old video games and some of the VR stuff. The Pirates attraction is really cool.

Disney Quest admission is also included with the Ultimate Park Hopper pass, as well as with the Premium Annual Passes.:)

I really think DisneyQueest is a lot of fun. It's a kind of indoor mini-theme park at Downtown Disney (next to Cirque du Solei and House of Blues). Lots of VR attractions and high-tech video games. Like Coree said, there's a virtural Pirates of the Caribbean attraction that's a lot of fun, and also a Virtural Jungle Cruise and a Virtural Magic Carpet Ride themed to Aladdin. Mighty Ducks Pinball, which is a giant game of pinball and also the Buzz Lightyear Astro Blaster, which is a kind of high-tech bumper cars are also pretty fun. I would recogmend giving it a try.

I think it's a cool experience, but for me I have good reasons for not having good memories of DisneyQuest. The only time I've been there was just a day before... september 11, 2001. That's why every time I think of DisneyQuest I remember that horrible day. I guess sometimes that's the way the mind works. :(

But like I said DisneyQuest is an excellent experience.

I think DisneyQuest is super! Five floors of nothing but state of the art video games, virtual reality, and even the "classic" arcade games. For the most part, all free with admission. If you have an Ultimate Hopper or Premium Annual pass its included, so I would definetly recommend trying it out then.

One suggestion, since it is inside it seems like a good idea to go there when it rains, but so does everyone else  Its not as fun when it is very crowded.

Its kinda like a Dave and Busters or Jillians. I love the place, its a great place to go after the parks and before PI or after a great performance of La Nouba.

I really liked DisneyQuest! I've only been there once, but I plan to return someday (probably with the ultimate pass, for repeat visits). There's a lot to see in there, plus, there is a good chance you will want to do things more than once, like build your own rollercoaster and all the interactive games!

Disney Quest is a very cool part of the Disney World Experience. You can play video games and virtual reality games 'til your heart's content! They have a Pirates of the Carib. VR ride that is so much fun, especially to do with your group, also amazing is the build your own coaster, you build your coaster on a touch-screen computer monitor, then you actually get to "ride it", just be careful how many big drops & loops you ad, because you can really feel them just as if you were on the real deal. Also fun is the fact that you can play an unlimited amount of old-school video games, such as; frogger, pacman, burgertime, asteroids...you get the picture! There is much more than what I mentioned, I guess i'm just trying to make the point that this is a really fun place away from the 4 major parks that's not to be missed. BTW, you could spend a large part of a day there, they also have a couple eateries upstairs with tables where you can play games or send emails to your friends and family members that weren't fortunate enough to join you at WDW!
