What in WDW do you love?

I think it'd be easier to list the things I don't love at WDW.

Then why dont you make a thread about what you dont like about WDW and take your negative garbage there then
Lol, sensitive much? I wasn't trying to be negative at all.

I was just pointing out how much I love WDW. You were so ready to jump on me, you failed reading comprehension.

I essentially meant there is so much I love at WDW that the list would be too long to make. It'd be easier to list the few things I don't like.

Get it now?

Ooh i got it now. My bad man. Im just so used to seeing positive threads ruined by someone trying to bring it down. I took it as you having more negative things to say. Simple misunderstanding of how it was read. :D

If you read your statement, you'd see that it can be taken multiple ways. Yes, one could infer you meant that such a list would be shorter. One could also infer that making a list of things you don't like is easier because there are ready obvious examples.

  • Flowers and foliage, real or fake
  • When the sun goes down and the park lights up with life

I'll be honest: I generally don't get too bothered with the negative news of the world.
I understand that this post is probably going to draw its own level of criticism. I'm not saying that Disney is perfect, or that I support any or all of the decisions made in the past few years. The spirit of this post is to hopefully draw focus onto what makes us a community drawn to the Mouse.

People are so negative on here I just don't understand it at all... Why they waste their time on here if they think its so bad? I don't know.... Lovely thread though, we need the positivity.

Another great thing is the general camaraderie among guests. Now there are plenty of nasties there (just like in the real world) but I've also seen and been part of plenty of instances where people are kind to strangers, and much more friendly than I'm used to. I love seeing that.

I'll be honest: I generally don't get too bothered with the negative news of the world. However, the recent influx of tragedy in the Orlando area has got me down. The news is depressing; the hyperbolic response from the internet only makes things worse. In that spirit, I'd like to reflect on what makes Walt Disney World special for you?

For me:
  • The cast members. The logical part of me wants to call them employees... but they really are more than that, for the most part. The interactions I've both experienced and witnessed are truly special.
  • The theming: No matter how hard I try, I can't get spellcheck to recognize this as a word. (Maybe it isn't, and only a concept in my head.) The attention to detail in even the smallest of elements continues to astonish me.
  • The X-Factor: Living in Florida, there's an abundance of theme parks and other attractions available to us. Yet, there's just something about Disney that tops them all.

Thanks!!! We needed this. Keep the love and pixie dust coming.
