So I created a land layout for a new Muppets Courtyard that would consist of the new attraction and a moved Muppetvision.

Posted this on the Muppet*Vision preservation thread, but figured people over here would be supportive of this:

I saw a comment over on Tom Bricker’s site encouraging people to nominate Muppet*Vision to the Library of Congress’s National Film Registry. To qualify for it, a film must be at least 10 years old and culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant. I believe that Muppet*Vision fills all of the above criteria, and I’d like to spread that message here as well, if you agree with this assessment. Thank you, everyone. The link is here:

I fancy myself as a poet. I wrote this free verse poem last year when I was in 10th grade while on a field trip to the theatre.

I Am:

I am fine

I am creaky but sturdy

I am a violent hurricane

I am experiencing ups and downs

I am hot*

I am experiencing a lot, but ain’t that life?

*: It was very hot in the building

Came across this on Reddit and felt like sharing with the class.

@TheOriginalTiki we can’t wait for 1998!
I would swap out Hollywood Land and Tomorrowland just because Tomorrowland has Space literally keeping its head barely above water whereas Hollywood Land has...a half abandoned walk through and a C ticket dark ride that only gets inflated wait times because of how miserably inefficient Lightning Lane is. I guess Hyperion is the main thing keeping the land afloat right now but that could so easily just get folded into Avengers Campus.

I definitely wonder if Disney plans to bring Monstropolis to DCA. If you think about it, they've essentially got three HUGE warehouses right freaking there between the Millionaire and Muppets buildings and Hollywood and Dine. I wouldn't be thrilled if they went that route, but my God at least it'd be SOMETHING. I've been wondering what the hell they're going to do with the Millionaire building for literal DECADES.

I've heard rumors that Pandora will take Monsters, Inc. and the current bus stop.

A woody themed expansion for Magic Kingdom’s Frontierland. Also why can’t people on Reddit read the title. I said on Reddit that this was a What If Toy Story never went to Hollywood studios, and then someone commented that it doesn’t make sense that an IP is in 2 parks. Also that argument is kinda redundant since Harry Potter is in 2 parks with a 3rd on the way.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Review
1734631005144.jpeg

Ok I just finished Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and, OH MY GOD THIS GAME IS PEAK. This game is basically another movie, and I love it so much. The voice acting, someone got a Time Machine because this man sounds exactly like Harrison Ford and a great thing that I like is that the people in different counties actually speak their language and not just accents. The graphics, chefs kiss. Gameplay, almost perfect, all melee is perfect but the revolver needs to be buffed so it is only 1 shot to kill. The story, taken right out of a Indy movie and I really like the story that was taken. The locations, all very detailed and they are all so different than each other, from the jungles of South Asia to a f*cking nazi battleship in the Himalayas. The characters, Indy was being Indy, I liked Gina even though she can be pretty dumb sometimes but that’s just the AI, locus is a great protagonist/antagonist, and Voss, oh man Voss, he is a great villain that isn’t too competent (you could have killed Indy several times) but competent enough to be a threat. Music, great, basically a Indy music soundtrack. The puzzles, some are hard (I had to search up a couple times) while some are easy, overall a nice blend of easy and hard. Playtime, this game took me several hours for each location which sounds bad but is actually a good thing. I really wholeheartedly recommend this game if you love Indy or if you just like action games. This game is a real contender for game of the year.

Got the new Taschen Donald Duck book among my presents on Christmas morn' - if any of you are hoping for a quick, spoiler-free review, all I have to say is that it is jaw-dropping

Oh, and I also got a tablet in the grab-bag at a get-together a few days before that. Going to be much easier to draw concept art and maps and whatnot for whatever projects I'm working on in the community
