What ID will I need at the airport

Two weeks from today we will be flying southwest to Tampa. DS16 has his valid TN lerners permit with photo, will he need any other ID? Also, DS7 does not actually have a photo ID, what should I take to make sure there are no delays? I don't actually remember having to take anything when we flew in 2005 but things may have changed.

Thanks for the help.

Only people over 18 need an ID. With that being said, both of my kids used their school photo IDs at check in even though they didn't need to and they were checked like everyone else. One TSA worker even commented on my daughter's haircut.

I always have my kids take their school ids especially now that they are getting older and I'n waiting for a TSA agent to doubt that they are minors and my DS(16) could easily pass for 18. They've never had to use them, but I like them to have them just in case. Usually the TSA agent just verifies their name and age with each child.
