What have they done better?

I have been regularly visiting WDW for over 22 years . A dear friend of mine proposed a question to me...In the years I have visited "what has TDO done better?" Whats better now? I have thought long and hard about this question. There is a lot of moaning and groaning these days about the place and I am reaching ( yes IMO its a reach ) out to the members here for some help. Serious answers only please.

Well...over 22 years....

- Interactive Queues are awesome. Big Thunder Mountain's queue is the best, especially with the inclusion of a new backstory, guest-starring a certain Disney Legend.
- Starting in 2015, the International Flower and Garden festival has added the "Garden Rocks" concert series. So if you like the Gin Blossoms, Taylor Dayne, or ELO, you're good to go.
- Star Tours II is better than Star Tours I, by virtue of the randomized film sequences and the fact that you get to see more of the SW Universe, including Hoth, Kashyyyk, and Tatooine. Speaking of randomization....
- Tower of Terror. Which has ironically gotten better by getting worse. :P

My brain was struggling earlier, but now having read others' input, I'll mimic some and try to add some of my own.

Magical Express is pretty cool.

QSR food is much better - both options and quality.

Room key systems have improved greatly - from real keys, to mag cards, to RFID.

Merchandise options have been up and down. Down for a long time, but I'm HOPING they're on a steady incline now.

While I still am very frustrated with the bus system, it's better than it was 20 years ago.

Crowd control is slowly improving, especially at the MK with the FL/LS cut-through and now the hub.

The entry system is greatly improved with RFID readers. Turnstiles slowed everything down. Now it is much quicker to get into the parks. You aren't standing in mile-long lines. Since there are two readers per line, if someone has an issue, the line keeps moving because the other reader likely does not have an issue. The biometric scan system with the single finger is also easier to use than when it was two fingers.

Crowd control, IMO, gets better every trip. They seem to have learned how to best control the crowds and keep everything moving.

Restrooms have also improved. The new ones that they have built are so much bigger, so the lines are shorter. Very important when you're a woman and you've had several bottles of water!

Magical Express is wonderful. Saves us having to figure out how to get there from the airport.

The newer shops at DTD are significantly improved. They've now gone back to having unique merchandise there. It was still kind of a mess in January over there, but we expect that Disney Springs will be a huge improvement.

Star Tours 2.0 is far better than the original.

Others have mentioned most of the better things, but they unfortunately don't have much to do with the attractions and shows the parks now offer. There just haven't been enough additions to the parks or enough expansion. The favorite attractions and shows are mostly from the pre Iger administration.

Hopefully, that changes with what additions are on the horizon.

God bless the "Ignore" button.
I actually think MM+ is a GREAT addition, I just have beef with the price tag and the changes to the FP system.
