What happens @ MK daily opening?

We never seem to make it to the parks before they open. I've read that the MK daily opening is the best, but I don't know what happens. Other than the obvious reasons for getting to the park early, is it worth the extra effort to see the opening schtick? I'm leaving in 4 days--can't wait!:sohappy:

Try it - try all of them!

At the MK, you`re held inside the turnstyles. Music plays, dancers dance on the railroad platform, the train pulls in with the characters onboard. They get off, dance, the family of the day are up there, confetti flies and the park opens.

Epcot has a goose-bumps rope drop with countdown and the Test Track drivable car.

DHS has a rope drop half way up Hollywood with a fake 1930's film crew and director running the show.

DAK has Mickey (I won`t spoil it) and others doing a spiel and rope drop show.

I can't believe I've only even seen MK. They didn't do Epcot in 2006 when I was there for opening (or 30 min before). Will have to see DHS when I go.

I've only see MK's as well and it was worth getting up early for! It was quite exciting for the kids (and me too)! I will have to check out others on my next trip... I can't believe I've never seen Epcot's!

The openings are not only fun, they also guarantee that you will get on certain attractions with minimal wait because the crowds are not as intense at opening.
