What happened to the Grand Floridian Christmas Tree?

I was riding the monorail and I wanted to drop in and see the Grand Floridian decorations for the holidays. I was disappointed to see the tree. I may be totally crazy, but I SWEAR it was MUCH taller and wider and had more elaborate victorian-themed ornaments etc. If I remember correctly it used to have lage musical instruments and birdcages and mirrors on it. This one looks very sparse and plain compared to the other. Again... perhaps I'm wrong. Anyone else been by to see it? I'm trying to locate a photo I have of the old tree to compare.

It's still really early to be wondering--it may still be a work in progress.

Isn't after Thanksgiving when all of the decorations are finished and everything's live?

I thought it seemed a lot smaller than last year too, but at the time I thought I was just imagining things. I also heard from someone that each hotel has a night that their decorations are installed and that's it until they are taken down, so I didn't think it was a work in progress.

The Christmas decorations were up in the Wilderness Lodge last weekend; it seemed strange to hear constant Christmas music so early in the season!

I have seen comparison photos of the GF tree, and it's definitely smaller than it was a few years ago. However, it's still a lovely tree. :)
