What happened to the fireworks at Hollywood Studios?

They were on a roll, Symphony in the stars will always be my favorite but Galactic Spectacular is good to. They last had the smaller fireworks but the larger ones I think for sure I think we’re a noticeable absence. Why did they cut them?

SWGE/TSL got rid of the original launch point. The new one is too close to the road and then this happened;

There have been no fireworks at any of the parks since they reopened in July due to Covid restrictions.

Not exactly sure your alternative is fully understood. One of the problems seemingly addressed by this cessation of fireworks is the crowding issue which happens whenever fireworks focally concentrated and the commensurate lack of social distancing. Does your concept address this issue and if so, how?

An aerial image from earlier this year still shows the launch site being maintained. The big fireworks were still being launched from here as recently as January 2020 for Jingle Bell Jingle Bam so the question still remains as to why the big fireworks weren't being utilized in the regular Star Wars Galatic Spectacular Show as they had when the show first debuted.
I find it hard to believe that because a single firework that injured nobody landed on a highway they decided to cancel all big fireworks there.

Fireworks cost a lot more money than lights, projectors and lasers. I think if you want fireworks go to Magic Kingdom or Epcot.

At Disneyland Paris they stopped doing fireworks every night a long time ago, but brought it back with more projections and fountains as its cheaper and it was felt its better to do a cheaper show every night compared to only seasonally.

If fireworks landed on Osceola Parkway with cars driving along at 45-50mph that would be a considerable incident if vehicles were involved in a crash blamed on fireworks falling on the roadway.
