Suffice it to say that no one is going to be banned for being overly passionate of having an unpopular opinion- if that was the case, very few of us would be left.
To the OP- if you've truly never seen any abrasive posts, perhaps the worst were deleted by one of us before you visited those particular threads. :shrug:
