I remember hearing about it in 07 but now thinking back it sounds like a disaster to me. I can't see Disney making a good replacement or trust them to mess with anything as of now unless they went back to the original Illuminations.

HEH. I remember this rumor being really popular when I first joined these forums.
Well, now that it's dead, what can you tell us about it? I'm surprised that it gets high praise from you, considering your love for ROE.
Dorcy wouldn't take a step back, Do you have any idea what the theming or storyline would be. Im assuming it would be more about the country again with Reflections of Earths technology and similar music, maybe even some of the same music.

I miss the mapping on each country with the original IlumiNations, today it would even be more amazing with the tech.

More like Earth Barge with lasers, with hat solid state technology they use now they can probably mount lasers onto the earth barge easily. It would be awesome to have water images with the earth as a backdrop not to mention as the country is doing its little light show the earth can have its own sequence and show landmarks and images around the world. Also new screens, Ive seen the earth move across the lake before, I can part with that.
While there at it they can add 4 more fountains.

I don't really think it is a knock-off, more of just an inside joke where my friend mistakingly thought the song was a re-worked version of My Heart Will Go On.

I think more than half the guests in O Canada think its Celine singing the themesong there too. At first anyway.
I'm sick of the post show music they have, I think it's time they go back to the orchestrated music like hey had for illuminations 25. Along with thats wish they would keep the buildings light up after the show and do the little post show light shows with the buildings. The current post show is dull and depressing.

When a new show does happen I would love to see a very immersive show with lots of lighting, lasers (Like Italy's light show on NYE) ;-). Plus projection mapping, WOC type fountains, mist screens, fire jets (like in WOC).

I just want to seethed bring back Illuminations 1 with new effects and projections on the buildings or should I say all the buildings. One thing I miss andI dont know why is hearing the classical music and it's the only time I care to listen to it. my favorate part was always the laser segment right after rapsody.
