I'll warn you that this is somewhat disturbing, and scary right down to the core of my being, but I think it is something everyone should look at.

Hmm..... I'm remembering all those shows about the Mother Theresa face seen in a cinnamon roll.... and the image of Jesus in the window film stuff (I never could figure this one out. All I saw was a rainbow-looking reflection.).....

At least the face and the situation can be linked here. This is really weird. I'm not quite sure what to think about it.

It really is disturbing! I've always been told the devil is real, but how could God allow his innocent children to die at the hands of Satan? I've always been told not to queston God. So, I will pray for some understanding.

Debbie, I've been thinking about that question a lot because I am one of the senior high youth leaders at my church. I've asked myself many times what will I tell those kids on Sunday. Here's my answer:

God gave us freewill, and as much as it may hurt Him, we are able to do things that are wrong. That is our lot as humans. This was not the work of God, this was the work of madmen (and, I believe, Satan). Though this was a horrible tragedy, know that God is finding and will continue to find ways to use this for good. Don't let this shake your faith in Him. Also, read Isiah 30, starting especially at verse 18.

God is with us.

What you said is very true disneycrazy. We do have free will and that was given to us by God. We cannot answer all questions right now. If there is anything positive that has come out of this, it is that the nation has come together and they have gone to their knees to pray to God.

It is truly scary. But I can tell you by seeing several images of burning structures (from FD), that the virgin mary or Jesus can almost always be seen in the flames. So, I'm not surprised that a camera caught this image, but it is scary, I must admit.

Please don´t take me wrong and get offended, but all I see is an ugly face formed in the smoke. I can not say it is Satan as I have never seen him. Maybe it´s God´s face very upset? I don´t know! For me, it was just a coincidence that the smoke formed a face there... like Wdw Imagineer said.....we almost always find faces in the pics of flames...

i dont really know what you all believe but for me i believe that hell is here on earth and we were put here by god to test our faith. That if we make it through this life and still trust him then we go on to a higher level

It scares me to look at the picture. However humans have a way of making nothing look like something. But it is very appropriate that the picture looks like Satan. If you believe in God, then Satan will never hurt you. And if it really was Satan, I personally like how America collectively is giving him the middle finger by how we are pulling together in the face of this tragedy.
