What do you HAVE to do when you visit?

We are leaving on an 8 day trip to WDW this Saturday.

I am wondering what everyone feels like they HAVE to do when they go or else their vacation won't be complete.. such as what ride... what restaurant etc etc....

We were there for the first time in 2001 and since then I have found all sorts of things to do that I never would have thought of as a "must-do" thing. The Hoop dee do for example seems to be a repeat for many as well as eating at O'Hanna. All things I would never have thought would be something to include...

SO give me ideas please!!!

let's see, in no particular order:

eat at the CA GRill, ride TOT, RnR and Space Mountain, take at least one ride on the launch from the Polynesian to the MK, get a beaver tail in Canada, see Illuminations and ride Snow White!

Here are some thoughts:

Ride Haunted Mansion as much as possible. A classic attraction.

When in the MK, eat at the Plaza Restaurant. It is a nice sit down meal, one of the best at MK.

Spend some time on the Boardwalk. There are lots of good restaurants, the ESPN Club, the dueling piano bar.

If you can part with the $$, go to Shula's Steak House. It is wonderful, but expensive.

Visit the Christmas shops.

Most importantly, if you are at WDW long enough, just take some time to stop rushing around, and just take in the atmosphere. Watch people, visit the shops, take pictures. So many people are rushing here and there, they miss the joy of being at WDW.

I am leaving a week from today and I will post mine but would like to hear others as well:

I always have to ride the R & R coaster at least 3 times.

I always have to ride IASW.

I always have to try a new character breakfast.

I always have to buy at least one Christmas ornament.

I always have to shop at DTD and shop at the Rainforest Cafe and the huge Disney store.

I always have to see the fireworks at MK at least once.

Get to Magic Kingdom early.....buy yourselves those big chocolate covered RiceKrispy treats and a bottle of juice or some coffee....take them up to the top of the train station and grab a table there to watch everyone entering the park while you eat your breakfast in front of the Castle.

It gives you kind of a "Welcome to my Place" kind of feeling!

Try it! There's no better way to start your day!

When I go to WDW, these are the 10 things I HAVE to do:

1) Visit Magic Kingdom, ride Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain, and the TTA. I also have to get at least one of these orange-vanilla ice-creams from Adventureland, and eat at Cosmic Ray's (old family tradition).

2) Visit EPCOT, ride Test Track, and I ABSOLUTELY HAVE to get at least two henna tattoos from Morrocco in the World Showcase.

3) Ride Tower of Terror and Rock'n Roller Coaster.

4) Go to Typhoon Lagoon and hang out in the wave pool for at least an hour.

5) Eat at least 5 Premium Mickey Bars.

6) Get a fabulous tan by the pool (Fantasia Pool).

7) See Mickey, and get a picture.

8) Get caught in the rain, and make the best of it (running around in it).

9) Drink lot's of the Nestea (with lots of ice and one and a half Equal's) from the fountain at the hotel with my resort mug.

10) Look for pin's with my dad (He love's them).

Heading for the great escape.
Div is short for divot, meaning the lump of grass that golfers kick up when they take a shot. In other words something that is completely useless, but yes a prat!!:)

This totally inappropriate behaviour may seem like fun to you but could totally ruin someone’s day. Think before you act. Do you really want the tears of a young child on your conscience? This sort of behaviour should be reserved for Six Flags or some other down market park, like IOA.

Some people take things too literally:) But what other explanation have you for a 39 year old couple posing for a photograph with a vertically challenged individual in an outsized animal suit???:D
