What do you dream about?

 :dazzle: You guys are trying to give me a heart attack. If it were anybody but Leah, I'd have just written it off as a dream and her being delirious, but she's just so astute about EVERYTHING. People don't believe that she's only 2 when they hear her talk.

And I'm preferring to think she saw an angel.

That's how Max (my nephew was -- well still is - he is 9 now though)

My crazy sister took him to the Myrtles Plantation (the haunted one in St. Francisville) after that and he said he saw stuff there too (he was 3)

I took him to Fort Pickens here in Pensacola beach when he was 8 and out of the blue he told me "Hey... um... there are ghosts in here"

I said "What? No there aren't"

and he said "YES THERE ARE... at least 3"

Strange kid but the smartest little fella I know.

LOL! Well, she did ask where the lion went, too, but then fixated on the boy. I dunno... had me weirded out. Obviously, because I'm up here typing to you instead of being a good mom and making her stay in bed and sleep there. She's dozed back off though. Just punched me in the chin in a little sleep spasm. Hurrah! Back to bed for me.

Resurrection! I know I probably spelled that wrong, but ask me if I'm going to dictionary.com at 3:30 a.m. NO!

ANYHOO...

I'm sitting here with Leah (2 year old) because she woke me up SCREAMING at the top of her lungs about an hour ago and pointing and looking at the closet. So I get her calm and ask what's wrong. She asked me "Where boy go?" :dazzle: Is she trying to give me a heart attack? I thought perhaps she was dreaming about a boy or something, but she wouldn't let it go, for 45 minutes she sat straight up and asked where the boy was. (we're at my in law's for the weekend, she sleeps in the bed with me when we're here... if that explains anything) Anyhow, it's 3:30, and I'm very much tired and very much weirded out. She has recovered and is quite wide awake and ready to take on the day it seems. :hammer:

WOW Christy that reminds me of an experience I had when I was real young...I was like six or seven....I woke up one night and looked at the door to my room (It was kept opened)...well on this night I looked at the door and standing in the portal was a man (all I saw was a silhouette) at first I thought it was my dad...but for some odd reason fear took hold of me at that moment...I WAS REALLY SCARED...I was going to scream for my dad, cause I thought it was some intruder or something....I couldn't scream...I put my head down into the pillow and when I looked up the person wasn't there....to this day I sleep with the door closed and rarely look at door if I happen to awake at night....

It happened at the house we lived before the one we live in now...as a kid it was tough to sleep in that house...I don't know why...I would wake up from terrible dreams, and suffer from insomnia...thankfully after moving I never had any problems...weird things still happen...but for the sake of not seeming insane...I won't share...

Figment,

Look for a book called "Creative Dreaming", it is an instruction manual on lucid dreaming -- or just do a search on Lucid Dreams.

Many people don't realize that you can master dream control, and some still deny it can happen, but believe me, you can dream whatever you want to, and you can willingly control the course of dreams.

I have been doing it since I was a teen, and the feeling is incredible. The only problem, at least for me, is that I don't feel rested after I do it.
