What do you do with balloons?

I admit it...I love the balloons they sell on Main Street at the MK. I love the light-up Mickey Ear balloons, but what in the world do you do with the balloons?? It was super easy when the kiddos were of stroller-rolling age to just attach the balloons to the strollers. But now that they are older and I don't have the stroller/kids as my excuse to buy them, what does one do? Do any adults really buy these without attaching these to strollers/wheelchairs/EVCs?

You posted this in the wrong subforum, unfortunately. I think you should have posted this to General Discussion. But to answer your question, yes. Adults buy balloons, too. They're fun to carry around.

We usually wait until later in the day to buy them, after we've had enough rides and are done going in crowded shops. Sometimes we'll change our minds and decide that we do actually want to do another ride, or a show where balloons would be a nuisance. If that happens then we give them to children who don't have any. Of course, always check with a parent first.

Losing a purple balloon walking out of either a Wal-Mart or Applebee's was very traumatic for me as a four-year-old

Without a stroller, there is no balloon for us. We do buy one each trip to let go with a message from my daughter to her grandpa in Heaven. Once that is done, we enjoy the trip.

No need to feel embarrassed about buying a balloon as an adult. Just do what I do and tell them you have a balloon fettish. I find at this point the conversation with the CM abruptly ends and they ask no more questions ;)

I tied my balloon onto the backpack I had at the time. When we went on rides the cast members held the balloon for me and took great care of it. :)

You might be thinking of "buffoons" ;)

Noun: One with an exaggerated opinion of their own importance. Similar to heid-the-ba' and ba'-heid. Sometimes used more generally for a fool, but especially one who is an extremely confident fool. Example: Ignore him, wi his big BMW an his swimmin pool. He's a big balloon :angelic:
