Yeah its fun until they do it back to you in a year that you aren't going.
My coworker has plans to go in Dec, I think ppl have been drivin nuts at breaks by us talking about what the heck different things are. She hasnt been in 9 years, so her youngest has never been.
I do get annoyed with one person who has a spoiled child and has been bragging about going to Disney later this year to DD8 since last year. I know kids will be kids but if mine is excited to go on a plane, and see the ocean (only part of our trip she knows about) don't be a brat and say how your kid it going to spend dinner with Cinderella, eat in her castle, ect. when she says for the millionth time she is going on a plane.

You are good!!!
Love the laminate idea:)

DH said I was overplanning when he saw the wallet size laminates lol. 1 for each days park with ADR, FP scheduled, 4th FP that'd be ideal, parade and nightime shows, and couple notes about side stuff. I'd rather not spend my time looking on my phone, pulling out a map, and an app to load just for one thing. Yeah I sneak a peak at a few books when DD isn't around since it's still a suprise.

Last trip, I spent almost every day browsing this forum and other websites, planning to the smallest detail, picking out what merchandise I want to buy and what stores sell it.

I've got a trip in early stages now but we're not going until November probably, so right now I'm doing half planning and half trying to forget the trip exists so it's less leg-jigglingly exciting.

One thing I do as the trip gets way closer is start making planning lists, and break it down piece by piece and day by day. Like one list is carry-on luggage stuff, one is for checked baggage, and I slowly gather up the stuff for each bag so I'm not doing it all right before we go. I keep the stuff in a pile on the bag so I don't pack it all and think "oh wait did I remember X" and then unpack everything.

Another thing I do is work hard to scrounge up a bit more spending money as the trip gets closer. Helps take my mind off things, and then hey, extra money!

50 days out? That's about when I start to worry that some kind of catastrophe (like illness or worse) will happen and ruin our trip!

I am really impressed! I type up our itinerary too, but I don't laminate it (and I have a laminator on my desk). What a good idea. My itineraries end up so crinkled. But, last trip I used the phone app a lot and it was pretty helpful because it kept track of just about everything. The only thing you have to worry about is keeping your phone charged.

I just figured a laminate may be a good way to go in case the app doesn't work, or the dredded water lol. My phone is horrible on battery life also.

Change my plans - dining reservations, extra activities, etc...
a million times

And- ask everyone for advice on my plans.

Bedroom floor is covered in outfits, and friends and family are receiving unsolicited seminars of my plans. :D

Can you help me next time? I pack literally hours before we leave.lol

Haha, oh man! I just think way too hard about things that only I will notice/care about. Like color combos of outfits between me and the Mr., the style/colors that match the theme of our park (park, dining reservation, special event, etc.) Of course, nobody cares or remembers but I do, and like to think our pictures turn out pretty good because of it. :D

Obsess over the plans i have already booked making sure they are "just perfect", watching classic Disney movies, Disney vlogs on youtube, reading Disney books and guides, reading TRs, news, menus and anything else Disney i can! Shopping for things i may need, want or have missed. Checking dollar store and making a little hotel room kit with hand soap, night light and different Disney themed things i find there!

Well we are not there until August but by now I start wondering if I should change resorts, go over my ADR and see if we should change, start packing in my head. Checking this forum daily etc.

At the 50-day mark, I have the suitcases in the living room and my “play clothes’ washed, ironed and folded close by and ready to pack. I am listen to Disney music in the car and watch the vacation planning DVD every few days to get the feel of the parks again. My favorite is still the one with Dave and Co. However, this is because I am a planner and not that I am obsessed, I can quit whenever I want.

THIS! We like to
Immerse myself in every Disney movie and cartoon shorts ever made. Listen to every Disney CD in my collection, especially ones featuring park attraction themes. Continue to plan, adjust, add, tweak, review, adjust, every minute detail. Watch endless ride videos and dream of the day I'll be sitting there in person. Review packing lists and shop for snacks and other things I can't do without. Harass all my friends daily with details about how much fun I'm going to be having in x days.
Those last 10 days especially are mind wracking. One day I'll install a hyper space sleep chamber in my home and sleep away those last days, waking up in time to start the trip south.
watch (and re-watch) the classics and some of the more obscure movies/shorts. 3 Caballeros, Song of the South, etc.

I annoy everyone by talking about the trip, pack my sons bag a million times, watch the parade on YouTube every day (oh how my husband loves parades) and sing Disney songs all the time!!
