We room hop. Same idea as pool hopping, except we go to other resorts we're not staying at and take a nap or watch some TV in one of the rooms.
Good attitude, poncho, and determination.
In that order.
I learned this during my first visit to Disney World in October: don't wear a raincoat during a Florida rainy day. The things drip and cling to you, and if you step inside an attraction or a ride, you have to carry that wet dripping thing with you, which sucks. So I carry a portable umbrella. I whip it out when the rains come, then close it and put it in my backpack when the rains subside. Much more efficient and less messy.
A rainy day @ the beach is better than a sunny day @ work. That's what my DH says.Don a poncho and enjoy the less crowded parks. Of course that was before I had two small children. But, I still wouldnt leave the parks. I would much rather spend a vary rainy day at a park than at my house.
