I use to collect just about everything Disney but now I have started to streamline the last few years.

I mainly collect just WDW merchandise now. About 90% of my collection is from WDW.

I collect Disney Watches. I get a new one every trip. Last trip was a Haunted Mansion Ltd Edition. I have 13 now.

I also collect Disney photos and prints.

I collect have started to collect the Attraction posters

I collect old Disney items too, but not real expensive ones just because I just don't have enough money. I have old photos, prints, puppets, postcards and stuff like that. I have old maps, tickets, etc.

What sort of WDW Stuff do you collect?

-we collect christmas ornaments...particularly the ones with the years on them and of course special occasions

-picture magnets...again the year ones in particular, we started in 1999 and we have to get this year's still...and we have special ones like the 100 years celebration one and the ones that say "4 parks, one world"

-tshirts...why not lol? my parents have tshirts since before i was born from epcot's inaugural year...we have tshirts from the millenium celebration, i have my grad nite 2002 tshirt, and the list goes on...half my tshirts are disney and im proud of it :D

-shot glasses...we have year ones, resort ones, and special occasion ones

-my brother recently started collecting license plates...he has 2 commemorative mickey ones, and a couple of resort ones

-at work my mom has half her area full of disney magnets and knick-knacks...and she also has her collection of antenna toppers and golf balls given to her over the years by her boss and other co-workers who are all disney freaks...isnt it great to be working in a place full of disney freaks?!

my parents collect Disney World license plates...i can't even tell you how many we have! but they've ended up becoming our wall border around the kitchen and dining room. mom and dad also collect Disney World pins. They're not real fanatic with the pins...they just buy the ones they like.

I collect Disney World keychains. i'd say i probably have a good 30 or so of those. I also have a tendancy to collect DIsney t-shirts. i just can't seem to give them away, even when i outgrow them. and usually if i see that the image on one is fading, i'll 'retire' it. and if another member of the famiy has a Disney t-shirt that they want to get rid of, i'll usually adopt it.

my sister used to collect Disney buttons, but she stopped doing that a long time ago. i believe she still has them all, though. most likely buried in her closet.

and, of course, we have the usual collection of Disney World home videos and personal photos. that's gotten to be quite an extensive collection! :animwink:

I collect Disney golf balls. Used to have them hanging on a shelf but they're stored away. Friend of mine gave me one a few years ago with EPCOT design signed by Hale Irwin.

Have tons of Disney movies.

Also collect pins, tee shirts and knick knacks. But my biggest collection would have to be my Disney magnets...always picking out a new one.

Movies and snowglobes (both the regular size and and the mini globes). I also buys lots of t-shirts but I wouldn't really consider those a collection.

I collect:

WDW postcards (some are better pictures than I can take)

WDW (or just Disney) pinback buttons

Magnets

Vintage Disney (1965 and earlier) I try to get glassware but I'll buy anything I really like.

I collect postcards, and half my collection is from WDW. I also collect Figment stuff (that's pretty much an Epcot collection). I have tons of T-shirts that I can't bring myself to throw out. I've also just recently started collecting old WDW souveniers...you know, ashtrays, metal trays, banks, all that good stuff.

Another great thread! :sohappy:

Anything with Pooh. My favorite and most expensive Pooh collectible is the calendar. The calendar portion is made of oak and each month is a plate. I absolutely love it.

I have a lot of stuff with Eeyore on it but every time I go to WDW I have to get the tin that has jelly beans in it, costs about $10 I think.

You have reminded me of a few. We have a ton of the squished pennys as well as some qtrs. A few qtrs with years on them which is cool.

We also have a full Christmas tree of Disney ornaments.

I have about 20 magnets.

The T Shirts, that is another story. I collect em buy wear them out. My favorite shirt actually was of the Geani (Spel?) I got on my honeymoon in WDW. It had Geani on the front tailing off to theback with lamp on the back. I got more compliments on that shirt from children under 5 than you could ever imagine. It is long gone. My problem is I wear em to death. I usually have a Disney shirt on at all times, even if under my button down. Right now my 25th Aniv. shirt is more holes than fabric.

I really love old photos from WDW. I have old slides that my parents took that I am scanning. I have been turning some into "art" or just printing. Some sadly have detiorated (Spel?), that is why I have started scanning them.

I have a ton of movies too on VHS and have been trying when available to convert to DVD. I also have a bunch of the Disney Collector boxes of videos. The first was Fantasia, and I have Beauty & the Beast, Cinderella, Lion King, etc. I stopped buying those because The boxes get damaged easily. I think they were not made very well. The best was the Fantasia box and that was the first so I don't know why they changed.

I have some old stuff too. The ashtrays crack me up because it seems so anti-Disney. I have some trays, plates, a Polynesian Tiki Mug and stuff like that.

But most of my stuff is 70s.

i know what u mean :( i have some that are faded, like a shirt of the 7 dwarfs that was too cute and i havent seen it in a while but that's ok...i try not to wear my favorite shirts too much to try to keep them in good shape, like my grad nite shirt, the "donald duck over the years" shirt or whatever, and this cute yellow disney shirt those ive worn once, maybe twice cuz they are too nice to let them get destroyed...other shirts though i dont mind like one with just the mickey silhouette on it i wore it out but i know i can get them again
