the most terrifying ride is any ride in Disney World that stops for no reason or breaks down without warning am I right ?
It’s happening so much that by now I’m thinking it’s a stop to load a w/c or some idiot tripped a sensor or it’s a mechanical breakdown. In any case it’s no longer terrifying but an annoyance depending on how long the stoppage lasts.

Unless it's in the HM. Then it's like finding a $20 bill on the ground. Getting to sit in one area of the mansion for a few moments absorbing the atmosphere and seeing stuff you never seen before is fantastic. I'd love to have my ride vehicle stop once in every scene.

Pixar Pal-A-Round at DCA, previously known as Mickey’s Fun Wheel, previously known as the Sun Wheel, is legitimately the only terrifying Disney ride I’ve been on, particularly the swinging version. So far, it‘s the only Disney ride I’ve ridden where I genuinely feared for my life. Being 150 feet in the (pretty much open) air in a cage, swinging back and forth over the ground and water, and actually seeing the ground and water as you come down from each swing is very, scary, especially if one has a fear of heights and can’t swim (me). I nearly had a panic/anxiety attack when I went on.

Sure, other rides can be scary in the sense of anticipation, but no other ride has made me feel the way I felt when I entered a swinging gondola at DCA. I have to agree with OP.

I have lucked out and been stopped at the ballroom scene. That’s like winning the lottery!!
SOOO true! I don't recall ever being stuck in the ballroom. Madame Leota has conjured many goblins and ghoulies while I was a captivated audience, and I've been stuck by the doors, as well as the endless hallway a few times, but the ballroom is the holy grail! The graveyard would be great too, actually. 😎 I usually get stuck with Leota for some reason.

The only ride that scared me (years ago) was Astro Orbiter. My mother and I both thought we were going to fall out of the rocket. It wasn't so much the spinning of the ride, but the rocket tilted a bit, while it was high up in the air. (We thought the lap restraints weren't tight enough! ) ;)

Somebody beat me to Its a Small World :p

But, no rides at WDW are "terrifying".

Maybe the lines? They can be severely offputting. Is that kinda sorta like terrifying? :D
Families fighting in lines is pretty terrifying and some people will say getting stuck on the sky liner is terrifying. My DD is there now and rode GotG and she said that’s pretty intense too.
