What Disney movies have made you cry. For me it would definately be "The Lion King." I recently watched it and I was bawling like a baby on several occasions during the movie! *I know how embarassing to admit* The parts where the "Circle of Life" plays really gets me and also obviously the part where Mufasa is killed....

Beast's death in Beauty and the Beast
Tarzan leaving his mother in Tarzan
Dory begging Marlin not to leave her in Finding Nemo
The end of the Little Mermaid.... it's happy tears.

I haven't ever cried as a result of a Disney movie, but I've gotten close a few times. Especially "When She Loved Me" in Toy Story 2, and the scene Merhearted mentioned in Finding Nemo.

I can totally agree on the Toy Story 2 one! It's so sad! *tear*

Only instance I can think of is in the beginning of Tarzan when Kala's baby died.

Oh yeah, I probably got goosebumps when Mufasa died.

Ok, I haven't sobbed from each and every one of these, but I've gotten awful teary...

1)The sheer beauty of Snow White and Pinocchio
2)Bambi--because of the loss, the frustration in Man, the lyricism, and the sentimentality(watched it every day after preschool) The tendancy to tear up increases if you've read the book.
3)Cinderella getting her wish--i also watched that constantly when I was little
4)The ending of The Fox and the Hound
5)ending of the Little Mermaid
6)Ballroom scene and Beast's death/transformation in Beauty and the Beast
7)Mufasa's death in The Lion King; also the scene when Simba takes his place as king by climbing up Pride Rock in the rain, and letting out that roar that is answered by the lionesses--oh my it's so gorgeous...
8)end of Pocahontas
9)various parts from Hunchback...the opening, when he's mocked, "God Help the Outcasts", "Heaven's Light", the "Sanctuary!...SANCTUARY! SANCTUARY!!" part, when he believes Esmerelda to be dead, the finale
10) Hercules' "Go the Distance" song...what a pretty scene and I am obsessed with Greek mythology (hehe i don't care how much the movie changed it)
11)Tarzan--leaving his mom, Kerchak's death, and the ending with the kiss
12)toy story--for sentimental reasons--and the end is sweet
13)toy story 2--"when she loved me"
14)the adorable relationship in Monster's, Inc.
15)Lilo and Stitch--"I'm lost!"; my whole family was crying
16)the short before the Incredibles made me want to cry because it was one of the purest, simplest stories i have ever seen--it made me happy
17)Finding Nemo--Marlin cradling his son, who is still in his egg, and when Dory says "When I'm with you...i'm home."
18)Just thinking about The Nightmare Before Christmas makes me want to cry because I love that movie dearly, not to mention Tim Burton
19)listening to "my funny friend and me"
20)Mickey's Christmas Carol--the end, when Scrooge is hugging Tiny Tim

*all these things either have made me cry, make me cry, or make me think of crying--what can i say? I'm emotional.

I think the better question for me would be, which one didn't make me cry. I tend to cry at everything (I'm very emotional). Not Disney, but as an example, I even cried when I saw 8 Crazy Nights (Adam Sandler cartoon). My then boyfriend thought I was nuts! So, um, yeah, I cry at practically everything. I'm not sure I remember the last time I saw a movie that didn't make me at least shed a couple of tears.

I know, I know, I'm pathetic.

Dumbo gets me every time.

So does Beauty and the Beast. I've been known to plop that in and start sobbing immediately... There's something about the music and everything that just gets to me.

1. Bambi: "Mother?" nuff said.

2. Dumbo: I always want to cry so hard when Dumbo visits his mother and she's all chained up, and all she can do gently rock Dumbo in her trunk.

3. Beauty and the Beast: So sad when the beast died. :(

4. Toy Story 2: When she loved me scene really makes me wish I hadn't sold some of my old toys at yard sales.

5. Mickey's Christmas Carol: The scene where Mickey is at Tiny Tims grave, crying, and putting his crutch by its side.

6. Lion King: Mufasa's death. I cheered when the Hyena's beat the crap out of Scar.

Those are all the ones I can think of. The one scenes in Disney movies that always give me goose bumps is when all of the characters in the movie join forces to beat the crap out of the bad guys, like in the Lion King and Beauty and the Beast.

The ones that made me out and out cry...

Bambi (as a kid...that was a lo-o-o-o-ng time ago)
Ol' Yeller (again, as a kid)
The ending of Davy Crockett (yep...as a kid)

The ones that made/make me a little misty-eyed as an adult...

The Fox and the Hound
Mary Poppins (Feed the Birds specifically)

And, believe it or not, the ending to the Pomp and Circumstance sequence in Fantasia 2000, when Donald and Daisy are reunited. I just find that so touching...maybe because something finally goes right for poor Donald. :)

I cried during the Lion king when Mufasa dies. I also cry everytime I watch Pearl Harbor when Ben Affleck's character gets off the plane carrying Danny's casket.... I also cry during the scene in Armegeddon when she is talking to her father on the screen right before he dies.... There are other movies I cry during but I can't think of them right now

I feel real dumb for this one but Cool Runnings. That scene at the end where they carry the sled across the finish gets me every time.

Dumbo. His mother cradling him while Baby Mine plays. Gets me every time. I cant even listen to that song without tearing up! Years ago on All My Children, a character kidnapped a baby and she sang that song to the baby. I was a mess

I also cry at the end of Its a Wonderful Life, Field of Dreams, Steel Magnolias, and many many other movies. I guess Im just a sucker for these things
