What dining reservations charge a "no show" fee?

I know if you don't cancel your reservation at Cali Grill prior to 24 hours you'll be charged $25.00. Does anyone else know any other restaurants or character meals that do this?

Sorry can't help with that but I sure wish they all would start charging the "no show" fee.

I can see it both ways. It might be better if they just didn't offer reservations and just let people come up and decide if they wanted to wait for a table.

I just read this same question and answer on the moms panel. Below is a copy and paste of that. Personally, I think there should be some sort of fee or re-course for any and all no-shows.

If you're not going to make a reservation, the courteous thing to do is call Disney Dining at 407-WDW-DINE to cancel. This way they can release your slot to another guest. But even if you don't cancel, for the majority of dining experiences at WDW, there is no penalty if you miss your reservation. You will not be charged a dining plan credit if you do not show for your meal.

The only penalties assessed for restaurant no-shows are in cases where you needed to leave a credit card number to pay for or hold a reservation. These restaurants are Cinderella's Royal Table, Victoria & Alberts, California Grill, the dinner shows, and a few others. If you are a no-show for these meals, your credit card would be charged a fee, but you would still not lose any dining credits.

This is right on with what they told me when I made a reservation. A $10 (or was it $20) per person cancelation fee.

Cali Grill might be $25 per person too.

Thanks for the partial list, but I'm trying to find a list of all the restaurants that do this. If we aren't going to make a reservation we call and cancel, but it's usually about an hour before our reservation time, so we'd still be charged a penalty.

when you make your reservations ask. The sure fire way to know is if they require a credit card to book the ressie you will be charged a no show fee. Anytime I made ressies that they had a no show policy the CM told me on the phone how much the fee would be per person and if I needed to cancel how far in advance it needed to be done to avoid the fee.

When you book your ADR they will ask for your CC number each time if there is a penalty and make if very clear how much time ahead you'll have to cancel, and what the penalty is.

unless they ask for your credit card number at the time of reservation, you are restraint free with your reservations, though it is nice to call so someone who may want to eat there can have a chance to make a reservation.

I think one of the ones not listed are the Fantasmic package restaurants, if you're getting that package. I know when we booked it for Mama Melrose's we had to give a CC number.
