I wish. But it was recommended I do a local one first. Runnkng the first Cambridge (Mass) half. My wife works at MGH so running on their team!

I bet the weather is nice up there in Cambridge, Mass (with my best Magliozzi brothers accent). And probably a great route, especially if you get to run along the water!

We really sounds like that too! Not all of us. I don't hear any accent really when they talk(ed).

Yes running weather is finally nice. Mid november is pretty cold.

That's because your ear had adapted. Same thing down here...I don't notice a Southern accent as much as someone from, say Jersey, New York or Baaston, lol.

Make you a deal..send us some cold and we'll send you some of the mid 80s we get in December. People go nuts down here over "snow" (really shaved ice) and they just put an ice rink in the redeveloped mall near me. And it will be packed come December. Go figure.

6.5 miles Friday late afternoon. 4 miles yesterday evening.
And on Sunday, DD14 and DS17 competed together in a local AquaRun race and won first place in the Family Relay Division! DD swam 1/2 mile and DS ran 3 miles. It was very exciting. And the best part was the great photo I got of them with their arms around each other when they won first place! LOL

Two fast (for me) miles one at a time at the track yesterday while we DD and her friends ran in their unofficial "Scrambled Legs" running club! Those kids may be only 10 and they can't keep up over the long haul, but for short distances, they are wicked fast!

The friggin fraggin treadmill repair tech cancelled on me at the last minute yesterday. Yeah yeah, I understand that his wife went into labor. LOL. Anyway, they can't send somebody else for another week. Thankfully the weather outdoors has been pretty nice and should be even nicer and more Fall-like this weekend. Last night I ran 4 outside. Decent pace for me.
