Some people swear by that Disney Passporters book...You can actually bring it with you, map out your trip, has tips and note sections....but on a much more elaborate level then I'm explaining.

I have the unofficial guide and LOVE it.....There are so many options though and hopefully the book store has a good selection for you.

I think any disney fan should read "the hidden magic of wdw" it gives you so much info about all the nuances and tricks the imagineers tuck into things all over the parks. I usually reread it before every trip....

Read them all...then leave them at home. You really don't want your nose stuck in a book while at the parks. Have a good time.

This book is fantastic. We had a great time looking for things while in the queues and just walking around in general. A must for all WDW fans and newbies IMO.

Hidden Magic of WDW is a great book. I don't think there is anything in there that would spoil anyone's magic, but I do agree with a previous post to leave the books at home and enjoy the trip.

My favorite by far is Birnbaum's Walt Disney World 2011. It's absolutely great for your planning. But don't bring it into the parks with you. Do your research before hand and then just pick up a park map on your way into the park.

I really like 'The Complete Walt Disney World 20??' (whatever the current year for sale is, mine is 2009). Good details on all rides and restaurants with lots of pictures.

This one is my favorite! 2011 hasn't been released yet. I have a email request to let me know when it's available on amazon.com. I know I'll sound crazy but the reason it's my favorite are the pictures!

Birnbaum is great for the reasons stated above. However, the difference maker for me are the many discount coupons in the back of the book. We saved about $25 alone on our fishing excursion which was worth more than the cost of the book!

I love my Passporter. Got it for the first time for our trip in '09 and knew I'd get one for every trip. I didn't "use" it once I was there but found it so helpful in planning the trip. I did like using the pockets in the back for holding receipts and maps and things, too. I didn't take it in the park with me either. But I do love it, unfortunately, I pre-ordered the '11 version for my Sept. birthday last year and it still has yet to be released. I can't wait for it to come in though. I also bought a different book that I didn't nearly like as much. I can't remember the name but it had a lot of colorful pictures in it. I didn't think it was as informative as the Passporter.

Hi everybody. Amazon now has our book, "The Complete Walt Disney World 2011"! Here's the link to Amazon's page if you're interested: http://www.amazon.com/Complete-Walt-...0970959621/ref

Anyone ordering today will get their book on Tuesday.

Barnes & Noble says April 12th for some reason as a delivery date, but it should be closer to April 1st. Here's that link: http://search.barnesandnoble.com/boo...70959621&#TABS

It's quicker through Amazon; less expensive through Barnes & Noble (at least for now).

Thanks again for all your patience. Disney fans are the best :)
